I want to thank all of you who are helping with the flood relief efforts by working in the distribution center. A special thanks to everyone for participating in the special collection last weekend. The distribution center is open Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. If you know of anyone in need due to the flood, please have them come to the distribution center during these hours. If you would like to donate time working in the center, please stop by during these hours and offer your help.

Religious Education Classes have begun. Please contact Alfie if you still need to register. Classes for K-5th grade are held at the Windsor Charter Academy on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Classes for 6-7th grade are on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the church narthex while hall is occupied. Thank you for the help with dinner, table in the narthex, bowling, meetings and with the flood relief! We love our volunteers! We attended “See you at the Pole,” prayer ser-vice at WHS, that was a cool experience! Please see our new High School Leadership Hours! This is replacing our High School Youth Group. Music Director Needed
Our Lady of the Valley is looking to hire a part-time Music Director. We would like to hire a per-son with experience leading a choir(s) and congre-gation with liturgical worship music (OCP Publi-cations), with an openness to incorporating some contemporary worship music that is prayerful and reverent. Time requirements are 5-10 hours a week and 3 Masses on the weekend (4pm Sat, 8am & 10am Sun). We will be accepting resumes through Monday, Oct. 21st. Please send your resume to [email protected]

Items Needed
The OLV emergency distribution center is in need of diapers, formula, baby wipes and pet food. Please bring new, unopened items to the distribution center between 10 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Thank you for all your help and your donations.
Craft Sale
The craft fair will be held Friday, October 11th from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, October 13th after all Masses. All items are hand-crafted! Items available are hand quilted, crocheted, knitted items and hand painted wood items for fall, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Valentine Day gifts. Items include hand and bath towels, jewelry, cards, scarves, baskets, baby and children items. If you have items you made to turn in we need them by October 1st. Annual Anniversary Mass
The annual Anniversary Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for couples celebrating 25, 50 or 50+ anniversaries will be on Sunday, October 13th at 12:30 p.m. The registration form is on the table in the nar-thex. All registrations are due on Sunday, September 29th. Please make sure you fill out the form if you are interested in attending.
Free Writing Workshop
If you want to write a book but don’t know how to start, the American Christian Fiction Writers of Colorado will be offering a free fiction fundamentals workshop in the Windsor Library on the afternoon of Sunday, October 6th. It will help a writer understand the professional jour-ney of an author. Topics will be “Creating Believable Characters” and “Persevering as a Writer.” Hours of the workshop are 1:15 – 3:45 p.m. There will be a community event from 4-4:45 p.m. Workshop is free but you must register at www.acfwcolorado.com.

Bearfoot for Babies
Barefoot for Babies has several events planned for October in Greeley/UNC Cam-pus. Adoration for Life followed by a Dessert Social Potluck on Oct. 7, Special presentation on Oct. 8 Concert for Life on Oct. 9 with Tony Melendez and Turner Green, Special presentation on Oct. 10 and concluding with Mass followed by Eucharistic Procession on Oct. 11. SPECIAL MASS
Join the Families of Nazareth Movement (FNM) as they host a diocesan-wide Mass and potluck in preparation for the Holy Father’s Consecration of the World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Jaroslaw Zaniewski, National Moderator of FNM, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Fort Collins at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5. A potluck lunch will follow immediately after Mass in the parish center:

In addition, all those who can are welcome to join FNM as they attend the 2 p.m. showing of "The Blood & the Rose", a documentary about Our Lady of Guadalupe at AMC Cinema Saver 6 in Fort Collins. The movie director will give a live presentation prior to the movie beginning. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. Lifesaver Project
Next week the Knights of Columbus are cele-brating Respect Life Month with the Lifesaver
Lollipop Project. The Knights will offer Lifesavers after each Mass. The proceeds will provide donations to fund the OLV Garden Pro-Life monument. We thank you for your donations.

Helps us all to look to You for motivation and reason for action in this fight against abortion and for the salvation of the souls of Your children.
