The Story Has Just Begun
Christs Commission Fellowship is a movement of
Christ-committed followers. Its mission is to make
disciples who will make disciples (Matthew 28:18-
20).
The CCF story started with a few couples who met
for bible study in a house in Valley Golf
Subdivision. That bible study eventually grew to
the CCF you know today. CCF is now a growing
church of 30+ outreaches in the Philippines andabroad. As CCF grew exponentially by Gods grace,
the leaders were led by the Lord to build a center
for worship, a training venue, a school, and youth
center to accommodate the growing number of
Christ Committed Followers.
You are a witness to the countless blessings and
miracles that unfolded in the course of thisbuilding project. From the planning stage to the
pledges and purchase, blueprint to building,
construction to completion until its inaugural
Sunday worship last May 12, God was with CCFfrom start to finish.
The CCF Center is a testament of Gods goodness
and faithfulness. It is not a monument. CCF is Gods
project. His agenda is to draw more and more
people to Him so that the world will know Him.
You Are the Church
Church in the Bible comes from the Greek wordekklesiawhich means community, assembly, a
called out people. The church is not a building or a
structure. The church is the people who put their
trust in Jesus. (Colossians 4:5; 1 Corinthians16:19).
To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those
who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by
calling, with all who in every place call on the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and
ours. - 1 Corinthians 1:2
The church is a community of people set apart for
Christ and by Christ. Saints do not only refer to thepeople in the past who have died for Jesus. Saints
are very much alive today. You are a saint because
you are the church.
Because you are the church, you do not go to
church. Instead, you go to a place where thechurch gathers together to pray, worship God, and
fellowship with one another.
Jesus Is the Head; We Are the Body
And He put all things in subjection under His feet,
and gave Him as head over all things to thechurch, which is His body, the fullness of Him whofills all in all. - Ephesians 1:22-23
Jesus is the Head of the church and you are a partof His body. God has given you the privilege to be
His arms, feet and mouth to the world
(1 Corinthians 12:27; Colossians 1:16, 18).
As a part of the body of Christ, you are to be an
agent of positive transformation to the world. You
must love God and love others. You must
represent Christ. Love is the primary evidence of

WORD (contd)Christ-likeness. The church has one message
Jesus died and rose again for your sins to give you
eternal life. There is no salvation in any other
name but Jesus (Acts 3:15, 4:10, 12).
The new CCF Center is not the church. It is a
building. The people who are called out andsanctified in Christ are the church. You are the
church, the body of Christ. The pastors and elders
are your leaders but they are not the head of the
church. Jesus is the head of the church.
You must not lose sight of the mission, message
and motivation of your calling. The mission is to
make disciples who will make disciples. The
message is Jesus who He is, His gift of eternal lifeand how to make Him known. The motivation is
love. You do what you do because you love God
and others.
It is your privilege to partner with Gods agenda in
CCF to transform lives, families, and nations. You
are to take on the marching order to know Him
and make Him known. You are to finish well all for
Gods glory and honor.
Discussion Questions:
(Leaders: Please choose questions that are appropriate to the level of spiritual maturity of your members)
1.Parts of the Body. As a part of the body of Christ, who should you represent? What should you as a partof the body of Christ do?
2.You are the Church. As the church, think of how you have represented Christ to the world. How are youliving that out? Can others see Christ in you? Why or why not?
3. Privileged to Serve. There are many opportunities to serve in the new CCF Center. Is God asking you toserve Him there? Share this to others to encourage them to take the initiative to serve too.
WORKSSo What Now?
As a member of the body of Christ, what is God
prompting you to do to fulfill the Great Commission
now that CCF has moved to the new Worship andTraining Center? How will you be Christs arms, legs and mouth to the community?
Pray that you will have the desire and passion to
obey and live out the CCF mission to make discipleswho will make disciples. Pray that you will make
Him known wherever you are right now.
