CHS Actors Presented The Adams Family e Campus High School eatre Department presented THE ADDAMS FAMILY – A NEW MUSICAL in November. Judges from the Music eatre of Wichita’s Jester Program were in atten- dance to judge the play. Jester Award 2015 nominations and honors are announced in early Spring. e rights to the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY were only released in June 2014 and Campus High School will be one of three high schools throughout the state to premiere this exciting show. e production was directed by Roxana Stitt, assisted by Jon Melugin. Musical director is Becky Riffee and the choreographer is Deanne Zogleman. Production design (sets and costumes) by the Campus Stagecraſt class. THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done be- fore – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
