Chromacol’s new 30mm and 17mm filter formats providesuperior throughput and sample loading over standard,competitive 25mm and 13mm filters. Now you can processup to 50% more sample before reaching maximum sampleloading for our new 30mm filters.

The new sample distribution rings promote uniform applicationof the sample across the membrane area. This featuremaximizes the available filtration area, speed and reducesbackpressure when filtering highly particulate samples. Ournew, automated, manufacturing process ensures uniformityand reliability more than ever before. Our new methodseliminate variable results through controlled manufacturingconsistency from batch to batch, filter to filter.

Performance Filtration AssuranceImproved Chromacol Filters assure product performance andreproducibility through a vigorous quality testing program thatchallenges each type of filter to provide interference-freeresults. Every production lot is quality monitored:

• All critical filter performance specifications confirmed;bubble point, burst pressure, membrane retention, flow rate.

Flow Rate StudyChromacol’s Syringe Filter’s increased diametermakes quick work of your filtration procedures. Ourimproved diameter permits faster flow rates andminimizes back pressures. Now you can filter fasterand easier than ever before... even faster thanpopular, competitive syringe filters.

Test was performed using aconstant pressure and flowrate pump. Flow pressurewas 25 psi of distilled H20.All filters were Nylon 0.45µmwith prefilters. Collectionvolumes were done postfilter against time expired.Each filter was run four times.

Enhanced quality control and clean room assembly

Chromacol filters are now assembled under clean roomconditions. These new manufacturing controls lessenany airborne product contaminants, humidity andtemperature changes that could adversely affect filterperformance. With our automated procedures, humanhandling is kept to extreme minimums. These newprocedures mean a cleaner, better and more compliantfilter for even the most exacting filtration demands.

Protein Binding of Biological SamplesChromacol’s Regenerated Cellulose syringe filters possesssuperior characteristics for the filtration of biologicalsamples or high binding analytes. Our RegeneratedCellulose filters have low membrane zeta potentials toprovide ultra-low biological based binding coefficients, tomaximize sample yield after filtration. No binders, surfactantsor wetting agents are used, eliminating a source ofcontamination. Hydrophilic Regenerated Cellulose alsoexhibits excellent chemical resistance and high flow rateswhen compared to Polysulfone and Cellulose Acetate filtersnormally used in biological assay filtration.
