Merry Christmas And Happy New Year in France.
Christmas Tradition
For children we have the Advent Calendar so that it's easier to wait for Christmas. Sometimes you have chocolates or little presents inside.
It's normal to put the crib near the Christmas tree. In certain families people create all things of the crib, all characters and the setting. It's there all the time during Christmas and after Christmas for the Epiphanie in 6th January, we celebrate the welcoming of the 3 Magicial Kings.

It's a time to cook some biscuits with your mother or sisters. You can put these biscuits in the tree or in a nice box. Usually I decorate my biscuits with chocolate.
The traditional turkey stuffed with chestnuts !! And some vegetables like green beans.
For the dessert we eat bûche de noël. Some families cook this bûche, but it's possible to buy it in a bakery or frozen like frozen dessert.

The Best Christmas Market is in Alsace.
For ten years more or less the christmas market is the most important of all French towns.
Lot of people choose Paris and have fun in the french capital for example : for 2013/14 300.000 persons were in the Champs Élysées, 40.000 persons in Champs de Mars or Tracadéro.
