Swan View Primary School 75th Anniversary Fete
A huge thank you to Pauline & Carol P for being at this auspicious occasion on 22nd October, and spending the day selling raffle tickets. Also thanks to Linda, Pam B, Pam D, Carol P & Pauline for helping over the past couple of weeks preparing for the Fete, it was a massive task and we wish Maria Miceli from TSF a speedy recovery. Maria was instrumental in helping put all this together but unfortunately fell ill and couldn't be there on the day.

wonderful entertainment and their most generous donation of $500 to our “Swinging Spring” fund raiser on 28/10/17. A terrific night of music and dancing was had by all. Moira Scott and her celebrity partner (of “blue suede shoes” fame) gave great delight with their singing.
Alicia, Barbara Ria and Judy watch the Rock and Jive Club “strut their stuff”.
Many of our VIEW ladies were also seen on the dance floor showing us how to “shake a tail feather”The supper was enjoyed by all and heartfelt thanks go out to all our helpers. Pam B, Lynn, Pam D, Linda, Marilyn, Glenys and Elizabeth were especially busy on the set up, the door and the galley. And IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. Pam D has totalled our takings and Bayswater VIEW Club cleared over $2000. Well done Ladies.
We Stepped Back in Time (gracefully)There was a good turn out on 31/10 for our tour of Government House. The building is very special and beautifully appointed. We were entertained and informed by our guides and even learned of the murder, “a crime of passion”, in the ballroom in 1925. The group then enjoyed a BYO picnic lunch in the beautiful gardens of Government House. The weather was perfect.
