Merry Christmas from

I have truly enjoyed this advent season but I must confess it has been differ-

ent. Our walk through the Old Testament and our messages from the Prophet

books have emphasized the brokenness of the world and the anticipating of its

complete restoration. Life has modeled that for us as we have seen tragedy and

death both locally and as a nation. The world is not perfect has been proven,

but so has that God is at work. Over this month we have experienced at least

two people say yes to Jesus Christ and begin a relationship with Him! A taste

of heaven has touched us. Your giving of your time, talent and resources has

made this possible because individuals had a place to come and belong and got

to experience generosity by having their needs met. Thanks for giving!

Missionary Prayers Like all of us, missionaries face challenges in their work and personal lives. While we are able to post some of those as prayer requests in PML, often the issues go unspoken and thus unpub-lished. But we can be certain that forces are at work to discourage and hinder the work of these precious people who are called to missionary service. Please pray for each one who serves the Lord as a Naza-rene missionary: for discouragement to be defeated, for good working relationships with colleagues and local leaders, and for their families to sense the love and grace of Jesus daily. Pray also for those who are now retired from serving as Nazarene missionar-ies. Pray that they will be encouraged and that God will provide for every need.

Hope Community Church, a big thank you for thinking of us in tough times. The flower arrangement is beautiful and a great reminder of dad. Thank you for updating all the prayer requests as well. The prayers are what gets us through each day. The Lynn Schumaker Family.

To the People of God at Hope Community Church, thank you for hosting The Choraliers & Friends Sunday, December 2, 2012 for one of our Christmas Performances. Our theme, “Live in the Light!” was created so that we may focus on Jesus, the promised, Light of the World. It is our hope that your soul found joy and God spoke to your heart through the beauty of song. It is truly a pleasure to begin the Christmas Season lifting our voices in songs of praise! This would not be possible without our friends and supporters. Peace, Mary Ann Siefke and members of The Choraliers.

Sanctuary flowers are given by Terry Bach in memory of Isabell & Frederick Hentges and Mr. & Mrs. Bach.
