Join our Winter Enrichment Program! Enrichment is open for CES students and non- CES students.
You can do it alone or bring a group of friends from your neighborhood. Separate registration forms
are available for the non- CES students.

Description: This course encourages children’s independent creative spirit. Children will explore a wide variety of materials and techniques and will undoubtedly create masterpieces! Monday: Secret Agent Lab Dates: 1/22, (no class 1/29), 2/5, 2/12, (no class 2/19), 2/26,

Description: Ever wanted to be a detective? Do you think you have what it takes to discover “who done it”? If so, this program is for you! From secret communications and detective crime science to the inner workings of our cells and cool chemistry, this program is sure to make you go hummm! Each class, we sleuth out the answers to every day mysteries! Monday: Globetrotters - The Geography Club Dates: 1/22, (no class 1/29), 2/5, 2/12, (no class 2/19),

Description: Virtually travel around the world learning about exotic countries and places. We will be exploring six continents, focusing on cultures and landscapes while using games, activities, technology, and creative exploration. Geography is full of adventure and intrigue! Learn which mountain on earth is closest to the moon (NOT Everest!) and which country has the shortest place name on earth! We will have fun exploring remote places using technology, while also tasting some food choices from the various continents. Geography games will be played in each class. The last class will involve short visual
presentations by the students on a feature or country of their choice. After spending eight weeks in Globetrotters, you will be able to impress geography-challenged adults and take a step closer to winning the Geography Bee! Bring your Chromebooks with you and join our adventure! (Minimum: 5 students)

How about some crab soccer. dodgeball, or floor hockey? Description: Students will learn about the Japanese paper-folding art form by completing hands-on
origami projects and learning about the meaning and history of origami. Students will work on different
origami pieces each class and then they will create a composition with all the pieces created during the
program in the form of an art installation.

Extended Day Rate: $ 180 Enrichment Only Rate: $ 200 Description: (Preschool 2’s, 3’s, 4’s) Join Tippi Toes® for a positive, upbeat dance class based on original, imaginative, FUN music! Our instructors teach “by doing” so your dancer will be in a constant state of motion while they shadow the dance choreography and practice specific steps across the floor.

Description: This class focuses on enhancing children’s artistic techniques through lively lessons.
Students will learn how to use art tools, composition of materials, art vocabulary, and about significant
art history movements.

Description: In this class, students will learn how to create their own custom gameplay items and
elements using MCreator and Minecraft. Students will learn how to create artwork for various items,
and implement them into the game with custom behaviors while learning about texturing, logic flow,
asset organization, and custom event triggers. Design their own custom blocks, items, food, biomes and
more! Introduce your kids to modding Minecraft today!

Description: Improve decision-making, strategic thinking and emotional development! Develop concentration! Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accepting defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Regardless of a child’s ability Chess Wizards makes chess fun all! Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student will have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament. Minimum Enrollment: 10

Description: Students will learn about the fundamental elements of comics and animation and will
develop stories and characters using a step-by-step process of various styles and techniques. Note: We
don't repeat lesson plan, so students who had taken the class already will be able to further develop
their skills.

Description: Tippi Toes Dance Company begins with warm-ups and stretching exercises as well as
activities to encourage girls and boys to use their imagination. We then introduce ballet, tap or jazz
techniques using dance terms and examples to enhance their knowledge of the art. During the last
fifteen minutes of the final class, as dance performance will be held for parents.

number of students is required to offer each enrichment opportunity and is listed with the class
