Screening

• International Students Admission Committee evaluates submitted

documents for the decision of admission (Personal history, school record,

academic ability, financial ability, and route are evaluated.)

• When applicants are judged as having low studying and financial ability,

they shall not be admitted regardless of the number to be admitted

Tuition fee and Scholarship

Tuition fee

• New student of domestic or Enrolled student: should be paid during

registration period before each Spring or Fall class.

• Tuition fee: 20 weeks(6 months) 2,500,000won/ Textbook fee:

50,000won <Total: 2,550,000won> <1year: 5,100,000won>

Scholarship

• Excellence student scholarship every semester: 1st ~3th grade of each

• TOPIK scholarship: Any student who gets TOPIK above level 4 results

• Students who continue to live in the dormitory after the contract

period(The middle of June 2020), need to pay extra dormitory fees. (7,000

~ 9,000won a day)

Remarks

• Facilities: A single bed (with drawers), a desk, a chair, a closet (mirror and

shoes-rack attached), LAN cable, a telephone, a bed pad, vertical curtains,

etc.(On green village, there are timeshare kitchen for students.)

• Students shall prepare a blanket, a pillow, a bed cover, a cloth hanger,

soaps and a toothbrush, slipper, etc.

• Convenient facilities: Computer Rooms, Laundry Rooms, Common Rooms,

Shower Facilities, etc.

• Remarks - A registered student who gets poor grade will be kicked out and go back

Home - All dormitory residence should buy the insurance and take a medical

check at the medical center. (Infectious disease patients should return own country.)

• Korean Buddy Program for New students

Note

• Dual nationalities and people with no proof of nationality will not accepted

as foreign students.

• When applicant's names on documents differ, certificates issued by their

district courts certifying that the names on the documents match with the

person who has applied should be submitted.

• If it is found that accepted documents have been forged or illegally altered,

acceptance will be nullified.

• Items not specified in the guideline are handled by regulations of Chosun

University.

• The presented documents will not be returned only except the original

graduation certificate regardless of admission. Remittance charge for a

tuition refunds for dropout will be charged at your expense.

• Getting a final admission, the passed applicants must submit a

certificate of overseas travel insurance within 30days after joining the

US $110 Insurance in Korea.

• After the announcement of the successful candidate, the person who

receives the permit granted to enter the country will finally pass. And

applicants who do not have a visa confirmation until the beginning of the

semester are admitted next semester.

• Applicants of summer/winter semester: only who want to live outside

(University dormitory is unavailable)

Settlement costs

• You can only use the Korean currency (won) in Korea. Therefore, you

need to exchange the expenses before entering Korea. A minimum

settlement costs(the first month) of KRW 2,000,000 is required.
