Edinburgh University Musical Medics
Charity Christmas Concert
In aid of 500 Miles
7:30pm Saturday 28th November 2015
Priestfield Parish Church, Edinburgh
Welcome A recent study suggests that the fastest way to friendship is through music, and I whole-heartedly agree. Musical Medics couldn’t be a better example. So what keeps all our talented musicians taking time each week out of their Bizet lives? Let me Liszt the ways:
- Free cake, no doubt - Ondra’s Czech songs - Scott’s highly-anticipated stories - Mark’s successful tips for life
and certainly the opportunity to take a passion and use it to support causes like 500 Miles. We’re lucky to have Olivia Giles here to tell us more about her charity, and look forward to hearing how the proceeds from this evening will contribute to a greater purpose The work of many people made tonight possible. We’re incredibly grateful to Priestfield Church for letting us use your beautiful hall at what couldn’t have been a shorter notice. Thanks especially to the Reverend Dr. Jared Hay and Mr. Kenneth Ferguson. We’d be lost without our dedicated conductors, and I’d be even more lost without this year’s committee. They’re all incredible individuals, unshakeable in the face of whatever insanity I throw at them. You guys rock! Now, just as we’ve enjoyed the past couple months of preparation, it’s your turn: let this be a joyous start to the festive season. Happy Holidays!
