Certified Food Managers and HACCP-Trained PersonnelThe ACS Staff is thoroughly cognizant of, and practices, all pertinent aspects of food safety and food defense. With certified Food Managers, HACCP-trained personnel, and strict compliance with USDA, FSIS, and third party audit compliance, food defense remains paramount to our success.
As a true public warehouse and 3PL, we subscribe to C-TPAT standards for importers/exporters. Risk evaluations practices are conducted on a regular basis.
ACS is totally fenced and equipped with 24/7 surveilance, and temperatures are recorded by calibrated electronic data loggers capable of being downloaded and transmitted based on 15 minute recording intervals. All products received are scanned with calibrated infrared temperature measuring devices and temperatures are recorded on the physical BOL. Any product received which is outside the stated temperature requirements will initiate immediate client notification with requests on exact procedures to be followed before product is received.

Facilities
Total 205,000 square feet-5.7 million cubic feet
The ACS facility was constructed as a complete, masonry freezer with five adjacent rooms incorporating enclosed chilled docks for loading & unloading. Each room comprises some 35,000 square feet (980,000 cubic feet); all warehouses are capable of maintain-ing individual temperatures ranging from -5 to 65 degrees F, within narrow ranges for food safety and strict cold chain management.
The facility is completely fire sprinklered, monitored 24/7 with surveillance cameras, strategically racked, and rail served with spots for 5 railcars. CSX is our servicing rail carrier, and we maintain an affiliation with Union Pacific Distribution Services as well.
Our ammonia refrigeration plant offers complete redundancy, 24/7 monitoring by the Genesis Control System, and is staffed with trained & certified operators. Off-site monitoring for fire, ammonia, and intrusion alarms ensure that your product will be kept under the highest standards of care, custody and control.
National School Lunch Distribution
ACS handles USDA and commodity processed storage & delivery contracts for 24 counties in Florida. As a supplier, broker or processor, you can position forward inventory with ACS and increase your sales and response time by having product “on hand” for combined deliveries to the schools, recipient agen-cies, or any other commercial entities.
Transportation/ Distribution
As your “Shipper’s Agent,” ACS can serve as your cold-chain connection to complete your distribution requirements while utiliz-ing our facilities. We screen and verify our partner-carrier credentials via FMCSA/DOT SAFERSYS records.
Warehouse Management
System
Record, Track and AutomateACS has selected Accellos software to record, track, and automate inventory reconciliations. This WMS is web-based, and allows all clients 24/7 access to their inventory status, as well as historical lot/account tracking. ACS is EDI capable and maintains secure off-site data backup.
All damaged or “hold” items are maintained in segregated and isolated areas for each operating warehouse. All inbound and outbound trailers are inspected for structural integrity, proper reefer settings, general cleanliness, and odors. Exceptions are recorded and the client will be notified prior to carrier release. Unique ACS seals are placed on all outbound carriers carrying product from ACS custody, and seal numbers are recorded on the outbound BOL.
All ACS employees are screened prior to hire with multi-state background checks, drug testing, physicals, and prior employment references.
All carriers and visitors are required to sign in/out and must be escorted by an ACS employee while on premises.
