Children’s Rights in Youth Justice: An International Conference Tuesday 25th June 2019 Brockington Building B111 The Institute of Advanced Studies and the Social and Policy Studies Unit at Loughborough University are delighted to invite you to this exciting one-day event at our Loughborough campus. The conference will offer a series of presentations on the international context of children's rights in youth justice systems from prominent international academic researchers from England (Professor Stephen Case), Scotland (Professor Kay Tisdall), Wales (Dr Anthony Charles), Northern Ireland (Dr Nicola Carr) and Ireland (Professor Ursula Kilkelly, pictured below). We are pleased to announce further presentations for Pippa Goodfellow (Chair of the Standing Committee for Youth Justice) and Professor Kevin Haines (University of Trinidad and Tobago). In addition to this packed day of international presentations and valuable networking opportunities, a further day of activities is planned for June 26th to discuss research, scholarship and enterprise opportunities stemming from the conference.
