    world?

    y Around the world, approximately 250 millionchildren are child laborers.

    y 115 million children estimated to be in hazardouswork

    y 64% boy and 36% girls

    y 59% in agriculture

    2. Whats Child Labor?The word, work means full time commercial work to

    sustain self or add to the family income.

    Child labor is done by any working child who is underthe age specified by law.

    Child labor is a hazard to a Childs mental, physical,

    social, educational, emotional and spiritual

    development.

    Any child who is employed in activities to feed self

    and family is being subjected to child labor.
