Forstar 10” Tablet Computer was supplied to the tune of 65,000 units across the institutes in the state. Each tablet passed STQC lab test and once they were delivered to the colleges, they were tested again before distribution. There were no failure reported whatsoever. The device was a 10” tablet with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution. Through this solution the DTE authorities could clearly observe the usage of the tablet computer per college, per student. Each tablet was bound to the student’s id. This tablet computer was powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Government of Chhattisgarh, under the Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojna wanted to supply Tablet computers to students who were studying in colleges coming under Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh. The purpose of giving this tablet computer was to introduce new method to learn and also come to know about what is new in their interest areas through internet. Supply of the devices was the government’s initiative the promote e-education in the final year of their education and prepare them for the upcoming employment opportunities.
