1997 oxirane derivatives oxirane derivatives R 0030 10 - 098 Highly Enantioselective Epoxidation of trans-Stilbenes Catalyzed by Chiral Ketones. A series of novel chiral ketones such as (I) (8 examples) are investigated as catalysts for the epoxidation of trans-stilbenes. They give the highest enantioselectivities reported to date.
