WINE MAKER’S TASTING NOTES:
Coach House Cellars 2011 Syrah is designated with the Columbia Valley
Appellation, but is a single vineyard single lot wine sourced exclusively from
Yakima Valley’s Sheridan Vineyard. Aged in mostly used French oak for 21
months, with a very limited production of just over 50 cases made. On the
nose rened spice is balanced by a hit of boysenberry. e spice continues
through the palate with a more dened hint of white pepper rounded out
with smooth layers of blueberry, plumb, and mocha supported by gentle
tannins providing a sophisticated nish. Drinking well now through 2020.
