Welcome to Rotary Year 2019-2020! This is a big year for our club! Changes were recently approved to our club meeting schedule so be sure to read below and remember this catchy saying as a way of remembering:
“First and Third – ALL YOU CAN EAT!” “Second and Fourth – YOUR TREAT!”
At our June 18, 2019 meeting club members approved a new meeting schedule. On the First and Third Tuesday of each month the club will gather for our traditional meeting with a speaker and catered meal. The Second Tuesday will be our Board of Directors meeting (which everyone is welcome to observe) but you’ll need to bring your own lunch. The Fourth Tuesday will provide a time for club committees to meet and for members to socialize, but you’ll likewise need to bring your own lunch. For months in which there is a Fifth Tuesday, the club will hold an evening gathering designed especially for recruiting new members. Overall, this new schedule will reduce meal costs for members and encourage greater involvement from members in the various service activities and fund raisers we host annually.
