MILITARY:

o 1958 enlisted in the US Army, served 3 years active duty and 24 years in the Army

Reserve – retired in 1985 with the rank of Sergeant Major

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

o Worked for the Department of Defense in various capacities from 1963 to 1968.

o From 1968 to 1998 worked for Mobil Oil in various capacities – retired in 1998 as Marine

Transportation/Logistic Manager providing support for the Gulf of Mexico drilling and

producing operations. Also, provided Marine Transportation/Logistic expertise to Mobil

drilling and producing operations in Nigeria and Quatar.

o Worked as a Sales Representative for Oil and Gas Rental Service from 1998 to 2000.

o Currently retired and enjoying every minute of it.

o PARENTS: Anna Schexnayder and Welzie Taylor

o MARITAL STATUS: Married to Jean J. Taylor, have three children from a previous

marriage (Melissa, Paula and Bryan) and one stepson (Sammy Viola)

HOBBIES:

o Golfing, Woodworking, Antique Collector, and Gardening.
