Charity Fundraisers / Membership Recruiters

The RSPB & The Woodland Trust

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and self-motivated people, with an

interest in conservation and wildlife and with their own (car or van) transport to

represent The Woodland Trust or The RSPB in various locations throughout the

UK at pre-booked retail venues, shows, events and other private-site locations.

W4W actively seeks to take-on retired, semi-retired and those who might be

seriously considering a career change.

Many of our team members have been with us for between around 3 and 10

years having perhaps joined us in their late forties or early fifties.

For the right individuals we provide a realistic opportunity to earn an income

well above the UK national average. Our Fundraisers operate individually or

occasionally with a colleague at venues normally within about an hour’s travel of

their own home address: Most operate between 3 and 5 days per week usually

for 6-8 hours a day on-site. Our leading recruiters are offered regular additional

opportunities to enhance their earnings at major National and Regional shows

and events throughout the year at the UK’s primary exhibition centres.

Working for Wildlife Limited

Working for Wildlife Ltd (WFW) provides face to face fundraising and

membership recruitment services to UK charities primarily at private site venues

and at organised events.

Specialising in supporting conservation, wildlife and environmental charities

throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, WFW boasts one of the most

experienced management teams in the industry, and a dedicated workforce of

over sixty field staff. Throughout the year our Fundraisers attend thousands of

organised events, from village fetes to national exhibitions and staffing

information/promotional stands at retails outlets across the UK.

We do Amazing Things...

WFW recruits thousands of new members and supporters each month, raising

millions of pounds each year; however it’s not all about numbers! Our efforts

enable our charity partners to build a large community of knowledgeable and

committed supporters; dramatically increasing fundraising income, optimising

Gift Aid and bringing together a loyal and connected network of people who

become advocates for their cause.

Working either alone, or sometimes with a colleague, our Fundraisers are

trained and equipped to promote charities positively and informatively to the

public. Our methods and our ethics, allow us to boast the lowest year-one

attrition rates and highest ROI’s in the industry.

We love wildlife and the natural world, and want to give everyone who carries

that same passion the chance to follow-through their interest by joining one of

our brilliant wildlife charities, without feeling pressured into doing so.

W4W is an enthusiastic supporter and full member of the Government backed

Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) and member of the Public Fundraising

Regulatory Association (PFRA).

Interested?

Many of our most successful Fundraisers do have experience in direct sales,

customer service or perhaps even as a fundraiser for other agencies or charities:

However others have no such background – what they do have are engaging

personalities, excellent communications skills, drive and determination,

resilience and an ability to enthuse others by expanding on their own passion for

our countryside and the need for continued preservation and enhancement. All

positions are on a Self-Employed/Freelance basis offering an extremely

attractive commission based fee and flexible working pattern.

If you are interested, please e-mail your CV and a short cover note/letter in the

first instance explaining why you believe you would enjoy and be successful in

this role to us at: [email protected] or by post to: Vacancies, Working

for Wildlife Limited, 22 Tresillian Street, Plymouth. PL4 0QW
