Dental Shaper is engineered to import files from many different dental CAD formats. The actual version allows to import the following formats:

Other main features

• semi-automatic detection of implant axes and of the coupling plane (abutment-fixture)

• insert and/or replacement of implant interfaces

• creation of virtual removable models from a scanned file (direct intra-oral scan, or orthodontic scan, or optical model reading by Sirona™ systems)

• quick creation of parametric caps, straight from the model and the wax-up scans

• automatic creation of the machining strategy to produce a removable master model, for an implant structure, or a prosthesis on a stump, by a CNC machine (optional pack)

• direct integration with the CAM SUM3D Dental

Insert of the implant interface

Starting from an imported model (in this case a Procera™ file) it is possible to obtain the result here below. The resulting implant structure is ready to be milled or created by rapid prototyping (the output file is in STL format).
