Chapter Three Important Relationships I interviewed my mom about important relationships in her life, and this is what she told me. Sibling My mom had three siblings, her favourite sibling was her second sister Zhang Xiao Jie, she is younger than my mom. She was my mom’s favourite sibling is because the second sister is diligent and frugal, their favourite activities together were rope skipping and playing mud， but they didn’t really have a lot of time to play at that time, so normally they cook food and cut woods together. One day, my mom went to the mountain to cut some woods with her second sister, they got a lot of woods, on their way back, it rained heavily, so they started running, when they almost got out of the mountain, under a tree, they saw a big set of woods, and no one came to took those woods. So they just took those woods, and brought them home. When they got home, their mom were very surprise, because of the amount of the woods that they brought back. My mom and her second sister were two very different girl, my mom was a really quite girl, she likes to study and read books when she have time, but her second sister hates study, she likes to work for her dad, do some exercise and play with her friends. Even they are different, but they are still very good friends until now. Page 8

Chapter ThreeImportant Relationships

I interviewed my mom about important relationships in her life, and this is what she told me.

Sibling

My mom had three siblings, her favourite sibling was her second sister Zhang Xiao Jie, she is younger than my mom. My mom really like both of her mom and dad, but she likes her dad more than her mom. She likes her dad more because her dad always tell her what to do when she was confused, and her dad was really kind to her, he always cook for her, and take good care of her. Her dad was really knowledgable, he always teach her study, help her with her homework, and will some times take her to some interesting places. When my mom was 11 years old, her dad took her to Shenzhen. That day was a sunny day, they woke up really early in the morning, they walked for a long time to got to the town, and they took a bus to Shenzhen. There were a lot of interesting things in Shenzhen, and she learn a lot from this trip. Her dad always treat her different than her other siblings, because she is more sensible tan her other siblings, her other siblings were very loud, and really active. Her dad likes sensible kids.
