Guest Operating• An amateur radio station may be

operated in accordance with the privileges of the control operator’s license class regardless of the class of license of the station owner.

• BOTH the guest operator and the station owner are responsible for the proper operation of the station.

Unlicensed Operators• Any person may operate amateur radio

station as long as a licensed control operator is present at the control point.• Exception: Persons whose amateur license

has been suspended or revoked may not operate.

• Warning: If an international contact, make certain US has a third-party agreement with the other country.
