Entering Highways

Curves

Slow down BEFORE entering a curve!

Adjust your steering while going around the curve because your car will tend to go straight.

Turning Regulations ( right turns)

Stay as close to the center line as possible.

Stopping Regulations

When a yellow light follows a green light, stop is safe!

You are not allowed to stop in the intersection!

Railroad crossings

You must stop 15 feet from a railroad crossing when there are flashing red lights, ringing bells or flags.

If you stall on the tracks, get out of your car and walk clear of the tracks in the direction the train is coming.

School Buses

Motorists MUST stop at least 25 feet away from a bus when they are on a two lane road and the bus has their flashing red lights

unless… They are in front of a school

Emergency Vehicles

MOVE OVER LAWNJ law requires that all motorists approaching a stationary
