Open Source Hypervisors, Containers vProtect provides agentless backup and recovery for numerous open source hypervisors and containers, including KVM, Xen, Kubernetes, Amazon EC2, Proxmox, Oracle VM, Red Hat Virtualization and more.

Catalogic DPX offers best-in-class backup for both physical and virtual Windows servers, as well as applications (Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint). KODO offers protection for Windows desktops, laptops and phones, as well as Office 365. SQL Server is supported with ECX array snapshot management.

Catalogic ECX provides Oracle-aware snapshot copy automation for NetApp, Pure Storage and IBM arrays. Use cases include push-button database recovery and secure DB copy distribution for test-dev, DevOps, reporting, etc. Catalogic DPX provides efficient backup of Oracle databases. vProtect provides agentless backup and recovery for Oracle Virtualization VMs.

Catalogic DPX offers best-in-class backup for both physical and virtual Red Hat Linux servers. vProtect provides agentless backup for Red Hat Linux and oVirt virtual machines, also integrating those backups into legacy data protection solutions.

Catalogic supports VMware with efficient data protection, using either incremental backups or storage array snapshots. Catalogic pioneered the use of virtual machine technology to quickly spin up working VMs from backup copies, and this remains a core feature of both DPX and ECX.

Catalogic offers the only standalone, application-aware snapshot management tool for Pure Storage FlashArray. Integration with Oracle, SQL Server and VMware gives your customers a great solution for rapid protection and recovery, or automated copy delivery for dev-test, DevOps, reporting, etc.

Catalogic has an in-depth technical partnership with IBM, being a software development partner and the provider for IBM Spectrum Copy Data Management. As such, Catalogic offers unique value to IBM resellers, as we have tremendous in-house expertise on IBM storage and software offerings.

vProtect provides agentless backup and recovery for Nutanix Acropolis virtual machines, also integrating those backups into legacy data protection solutions. This gives users a cost-effective way to integrate Acropolis backups into their current backup solution, or to deploy vProtect as a stand-alone solution.

DPX Licensing

• DPX licensing is capacity based, sold per TB of data to be backed up (source-side data)

• DPX can also be licensed per-socket in a VMware only environment

• DPX has additional third-party components for Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and SharePoint item level recovery. These

are licensed separately.

• Available via term license or subscription

vProtect is an enterprise backup solution for Open VM environments such as Nutanix, Citrix Xen, RedHat Virtualization, KVM and more. vProtect enables VM-level protection and can function as a standalone solution or integrate with enterprise backup software. vProtect also provides data protection for Kubernetes deployments and Amazon EC2. KODO Licensing

• Standard KODO licensing is priced per-user and sold on a subscription basis (e.g. $x per user, per year)

• For end-point protection, a single license is entitled to protect up to three devices per user (e.g. laptop, cell phone, tablet)

• Office 365 and Box protection are sold separately, per user, per year

Q: Do we have a specific partnership level?

A: No, there is only one level in the Catalogic Partner Program.

Q: Is there a deal registration process? 

A: Yes! You can register opportunities for any of the Catalogic products on

our deal registration page. If you ever can’t find the link, remember that you

can get there by going to catalogicsoftware.com/dealreg.

Q: Is there a minimum required deal size, or can any deal size be

registered?

A: There is no minimum. Any deal size is eligible for registration.

Q: How long is Catalogic deal registration valid?

A: Deal registration remains valid for 90 days.

Q: Are registration extensions granted? And how long would the

extension be good for?

A: Yes, we can extend a deal registration for an additional 90 days if needed.

Q: Is there a partner portal that I would need access to for any reason?

A: We have a partner-friendly content library that gives you access to sales

collateral, including product slide decks. The other page of interest is the

Deal Registration page listed above.

Q: Does Catalogic Software work with Distributors?

A: Yes, we have existing relationships with most major distributors.

However, it is not required to procure through distribution. We leave that

decision to our partners to decide what works best for them.
