“Every year more and more individuals are diagnosed with autism. As a parent, I understand how important it is for our communities to have access to services that are evidence based. I was honored that the Autism Society of Santa Barbara was able to co-sponsor the Cambridge Center’s west coast conferences. These conferences brought highly respected and knowledgeable speakers and researchers into our community who shared valuable information. Monetary donations that were raised by Dr. Holdsambeck enabled many parents and professionals to attend on scholarship and also helped in keeping overall tuition prices down. In addition, these donations helped raise money for the Autism Society of Santa Barbara’s local efforts in supporting those living with autism and their families.”

Marcia Eichelberger, PresidentAutism Society of Santa Barbara

“I was a grateful recipient of a scholarship which allowed me to attend the Cambridge Conference. It is important for me to have an understanding of current research regarding evidence based practices for individuals with autism to ensure they receive the highest quality services. I was able to gain timely and valuable knowledge from the group of experts brought to us by Dr. Holdsambeck and the Cambridge Center. I cannot encourage you enough to help in this effort. ” Colleen Duncan, Autism CoordinatorTri-Counties Regional Center

Helping Professionals Help Others

“Children with autism are often first identified in the primary care arena. The role of the primary care provider is to ensure appropriate testing and resources are accessed to facilitate the best possible trajectory for each child. Nurse Practitioners and school nurses may be able to assist families with appropriate utilization of the research that is available and would benefit from participation in this conference.”

Judith O’Haver Ph.D., RN, CPNP-PC

“Communities across the country are struggling with finding the resources necessary to help children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Your gift will allow the Cambridge Center to continue to offer affordable education on the latest scientific research and evidence based practices. Your gift is tax deductible.”

Rob Holdsambeck, Ed.D., Psychologist, BCBA-D

Executive DirectorCambridge Center for Behavioral Studies

“I’m honored to participate in another Cambridge Center Conference on Autism. These events offer attendees a great opportunity to hear the latest news on recent efforts at providing evidence based practices for those with autism as well as their families. The talks offer practical advice on strategies to help professionals and others make thoughtful decisions regarding treatment options. Your donation to this event will help the Cambridge Center continue in their efforts to provide scholarships and lowered tuition for those in need. Please join us!”

Andy Bondy, Ph.D. Author, Autism 24/7Founder Pyramid Educational Systems

“The Cambridge Center is the only psychological organization which views aiding the world to solve its problems on the same high level of importance as doing the underlying scientific research so that the aid is truly effective.”

Kurt Salzinger, Ph.D.Senior Scholar in ResidenceHofstra University, New York

“As the science of human behavior evolves, we continue to find more useful and helpful ways to enable people facing particular challenges to grow, learn, accommodate to their families, schools, and workplaces and contribute to society in general. The Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies empowers all concerned by describing how these findings can best be applied. The more consistently and constructively these methods are implemented, the kinder, gentler, safer and healthier society will be.”
