2. 22.03.2015 Chandigarh Police achieved a major success on 21.3.15, with the arrest of

accused in a sensational murder in case FIR No. 152 dated 20.03.2015 U/s 302,

34-IPC registered in PS-Manimajra, Chd.

3. 20.08.2015 Chandigarh Police arrested Om Parkash R/o # 2109, Mauli Complex,

Chandigarh and recovered 290 Gram of Ganja from his possession. A Case FIR

No.447 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.

4. 23.08.2015 With the arrest of accused namely Monu R/o # 2461, Mauli Complex,

Chandigarh, near Booth Market, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh and recovered

380 Gram of Dode from his possession. A Case FIR No. 454 U/S 15 NDPS Act has

been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.

5. 23.08.2015 Chandigarh Police (Crime Branch) arrested Lakhan R/o # 2099, Mauli

Complex, MM, Chandigarh near RIMT School, MM, Chandigarh and recovered

10 Gram of Smack from his possession. A Case FIR No. 457 U/S 21 NDPS Act has

been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.

6. 06.09.2015 Inauguration of a Public Grievances Redressal Camp (Complaint redressal

Camp) was held in the premises of Police Station Mani Majra Chandigarh by

Sh Vijay Kumar Dev, IAS, Advisor to Administrator UT, Chandigarh.

During redressal Camp, 106 persons from general public visited the Police

Station to know the present status of their complaints. The facts of 203

complaints were discussed with the complainants, out of which 93 complaints

were disposed off. During the camp, Senior Officers ordered for registration of

cases on 3 (three) complaints.

7. 21.10.2015 Sh. Shambu Kumar R/o Village-Devda, Distt-Kharkriya, Bihar alleged that Kaku

R/o Village-Kharak Mangoli, Old Panchkula, Haryana stolen Nokia Mobile

Phone from his Jhuggi, Indira Colony, MM, Chandigarh on 20.10.2015. Later on

accused arrested and mobile phone recovered from his possession. A Case FIR

No. 571 U/S 380,411 IPC was registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. The case has

been worked out.

8. 19.10.2015 Chandigarh Police arrested Om Parkash R/o # 2109, Mauli Complex,

Chandigarh near Prachin Shiv Mandir, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh and

recovered 290 Gram of Ganja from his possession. A Case FIR No.447 U/S 20

NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.

9. 30.10.2015 Sh. Ashu Sonkar R/o # 4339, Mauli complex, Chandigarh alleged that

Vandana R/o Shanti Nagar, Delhi kidnapped complainant’s son Honey age

about 3 years from his residence on 30.10.2015. A Case FIR No. 591, U/S 363,

365 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later accused arrested in

this case & kidnapped boy recovered. The case has been worked out.

10. 10.12.2015 Chandigarh Police (Crime Branch) arrested Amit Kumar R/o # 434/7, Dera

Sahib, MM, Chandigarh near Fire Station, MHC, MM, Chandigarh and

recovered 7 Gram of Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No.658 U/S 21 NDPS

Act was registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.

11. 19.12.2015 A Case FIR No. 672 U/S 379,411 IPC was registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on

the statement of SI Krishan Kumar, Crime Cell, Chandigarh against Saurav

Arora R/o # 41, Golden Estate, Near Vikas Nagar, Baltana, Zirakpur (Pb) and

Vijay R/o # 1080, NIC, MM, Chandigarh both caught red handed from near PS-

Manimajra Chowk, Chandigarh on 18.12.2015 and recovered stolen Activa

Scooter No. HR-03F-4746 from their possession. Accused have been arrested in

this case. The case was worked out.

12. 6.1.2016 Chandigarh Police (Crime Branch) arrested Istekar Ahmed R/o # 1048, Mohalla

Mori Gate, MM, Chandigarh near Shani Mandir, MM, Chandigarh and

recovered 500 Gram of Ganja from his possession. A Case FIR No.07 U/S 20

NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is

going on.

13. 10.1.2016 Chandigarh Police arrested Jeet lal R/o # 2302, Indira Colony,

Manimajra, Chandigarh near Fun Republic, Manimajra, Chandigarh and

recovered 40 Gram of Charas from her possession. A Case FIR No.13 U/S 20

NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is

going on.

14. 11.01.2016 Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas R/o # 1527, Mori Gate, MM, Chandigarh

near Kerosene Oil Pump, MM, Chandigarh and recovered 45 Gram of Charas

from his possession. A Case FIR No.15 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in

PS-MM, Chandigarh.

15. 13.01.2015 Public Grievances Redressal Camp (Complaint Redressal Camp) have been

organized in the premises of PS-34, PS-Manimajra & PS-17 in which 7 Police

Stations were included i.e. PS-34, 49, Manimjara, IT park, Maulijagran, 17 &

Police Station–11, Chandigarh, which was chaired by Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill

IPS, SSP/UT, Chandigarh alongwith concerned SDPOs and SHOs, I/C PP’s, and

investigating officer/inquiry officers were present during the Camp

Smack from his possession. A Case FIR No. 21 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been

registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.

17. 3.3.2016 Accused Arrested in FIR No. 65, u/s 22 NDPS Act, PS-MM, UT, Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police arrested Salim Ansari R/o # 1367, Mori Gate, MM,

Chandigarh near Shivalik Park, MM, Chandigarh and recovered total 240

Capsule of (1) Dicyclamina Hydrochloride (2) Tramdo Hydrochloride (3)

Acetaminophen Capsule Spasmo-Proxyvon from his possession. A Case FIR No.

65 U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further

investigation is going on.

18. 29.2.2016 Accused Arrested in FIR No. 62, u/s 20 NDPS Act PS-MM, UT, Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police arrested Israr Ahmed resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh

near Housing Board Light Point, Chandigarh and recovered 120 gm. charas

from his possession. A Case FIR No. 62 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in

PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.

19. 31.03.2016 Accused arrested in Case FIR No. 90 U/S 20 NDPS, PS-MM, Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police arrested Mohamed Samim R/o Near Santoshi Mata Mandir,

Near Mata Mansa Devi Mandir, Panchkula near FR, MM, Chandigarh and

recovered 40 gram of Charas from his possession. A Case FIR No. 90, U/S 20

NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is

going on.

20. 08.04.2016 Accused arrested in Case FIR No. 98 U/S 379, 411 IPC, PS-MM, Chandigarh

Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o # 639, Sector-17, Panchkula, alleged that Lakdhwinder

Singh R/o # 1656, New Indira Colony, Chandigarh, who stolen complainant’s

purse containing cash Rs. 1000/-, and copy of D/L from SCO No. 855, NAC,

Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 08.04.2016. A Case FIR No. 98 U/S 379, 411 IPC has

been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later Accused has been arrested in

this case.

25. 16.05.2016 Apprehension of accused in case FIR No. 127 dated 16.05.2016 u/s 20 NDPS

Act, PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh

The Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police succeeded in apprehending accused

Veer Bhan s/o Sh. Pyare Lal r/o H.No. 1545, Indira Colony, Chandigarh, age-30

yrs and recovered 3 kg & 100 gm of Charas from his possession valuing Rs. 8-10

lacs.

On 16.05.2016, during a special drive, a team of Crime Branch was on

patrolling duty near BSNL, Exchange, Modern Complex, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh. Suddenly, the team noticed one pedestrian coming from the side

of Kalagram Light Point towards BSNL Exchange. On seeing the police party,

the said person tried to escape, but with prompt action, the team members

apprehended him. On checking the carry bag held by him in his hand, 3 kg &

100 gm of charas was recovered. On further interrogation, he disclosed his

name as Veer Bhan s/o Pyare Lal r/o H.No. 1545, Indira Colony, Chandigarh.

Hence, case FIR No. 127 dated 16.05.2016 u/s 20 NDPS Act, PS-Mani Majra,

Chandigarh was registered in this regard.

During interrogation, he disclosed that he is a taxi driver by profession

and habitual of consuming drugs since long. He used to bring these

contrabands from Himachal Pradesh by bus and sell the same at Dhabas

located at various places in Haryana. He also sells some quantity of drugs in

Chandigarh to the drug peddlers who further sell the same to the youngsters

and drug addicts in slum areas. Earlier also, he brought the contrabands 8-10

times from the area of Himachal Pradesh i.e. Manali, Rampur etc during the

last 3/4 months for the above said purpose.

26. 09.06.2016 Apprehension of accused in case FIR No. 142 U/S 376,506 IPC & 4 of POCSO

Act registered in PS-MM, Chd

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that Nasim R/o # 1250, Mori gate, MM,

Chandigarh raped her daughter age about 17 ½ years and also threatened

her. A Case FIR No. 142 U/S 376,506 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act has been registered

in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Accused Nasim has been arrested in this case. The

case has been worked out and further investigation of the case is in progress.

27. 05.07.2016 Arrest of accused in Case FIR No. 155 U/S 103,104 Trademark Act of PS-MM,

Chandigarh.

A Case FIR No. 155 U/S 103,104 Trademark Act has been registered in

PS-MM, Chandigarh on the Statement/complaint of Sh. Manish Jindal, Field

Officer of Speed Search and Security Network Pvt. Ltd. HE-15 Phase-9, Mohali

PB. He stated that he is working and duly authorizes by United Overseas trade

mark company 52 Sukhdev Vihar New Delhi. On 4.7.16, when they carried out

the survey of Mani Majra Market along with his team, then they found that M/S

Sai Traders, Krishna Market his owner Manish Arora and M/S Maa Jwala Ji

Garments his owner Raj Kumar Sindhu are being sold duplicate Garments

product with the Trade mark of their Company i.e. Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste,

Superdry, Calvin Rlein and G-Star. Due to this wrong Practice their company as

well as Government has huge revenue loss. Further, he has stated that if

immediate raid conducted duplicate ready mate product could be in heavy

quantity. On this complaint, raid was conducted in the market of Mani Majra

at Sai Traders and duplicate ready mate products i.e. 19 Tommy Hill Figer

Jeans, 20 Superdry Pents, 6 G- Star Shirt have been taken into possession and

alleged person Manish Arora R/o H.No 110 Bank Colony, MM, Chandigarh has

been arrested in this case.

28. 08.07.2016 Arrest of accused in Case FIR No. 158 U/S 21 NDPS Act of PS-MM, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sunil Sharma R/o # 77/3, Subhash Nagar, MM,

Chandigarh near RIMT School, MM, Chandigarh and recovered 3 gram of

Smack from his possession. A Case FIR No. 158 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been

registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.

29. 04.08.2016 Three accused in assault case has been arrested on 04.08.2016

A case FIR No.174, dated 3.08.16, U/S 341,323,324,34 IPC has been registered in

PS-MM, in which 03 more accused namely Vishal S/o Vinod Kumar R/o #498,

New Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Mukul S/o Rajbir R/o # 501, New

Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh & Nitin S/o Ajay R/o # 500, New Indira

Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh have been arrested on 4.08.16.

Chandigarh.

Manimajra, Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police arrested Shankar R/o # 1387, Mori Gate, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh near Gate No. 2, Shivalik Garden, Mani Majra, Chandigarh and

recovered 220 Gram of charas from his possession. A Case FIR No. 166, U/S 20

NDPS ACT has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh.

33. 07.08.2016 One drug peddler arrested with 50 gram of Charas and one PO arrested

wanted in case FIR No. 151/2012 U/S 353, 332, 353, 506 IPC.

On 07.08.2016, one person Krishan @ Guru R/o # 1151, Mohalla Mori Gate, MM,

Chandigarh was arrested near Tubewell, Shivalik Garden, MM, Chandigarh

and 50 Gram of charas was recovered from his possession. A Case FIR No. 177

U/S 20 NDPS ACT has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh.

On 7.0816, one PO namely Akash S/o Ashok R/o # 1513, Old NAC Mani Majra,

Chd was arrested in FIR No.151/13.05.12 U/S 353, 332, 353, 506 IPC declared PO

by the Court of Sh. Anubhav Sharma, CJM, Chandigarh. In this case accused

assaulted Constable Sandeep Kumar, posted at PCR while attended the

quarrel spot on 13.05.2012.

34. 8.8.2016 Chandigarh Police arrested Krishan @ Guru R/o # 1151, Mohalla Mori

Gate, MM, Chandigarh near Tubewell, Shivalik Garden, MM, Chandigarh and

recovered 50 Gram of charas from his possession. A Case FIR No. 177 U/S 20

NDPS ACT has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Further

investigation is going on.

35. 20.8.2016 A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that Mohd. Aftab R/o # 2560,

Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh stabbed to Hitesh (complainant’s tenant) near

Community Centre, Gobindpura, MM, Chandigarh. Who got injured and

admitted to PGI where duty doctors declared him as brought dead. A Case

FIR No. 183 U/S 302 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Accused

has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

36. 25.8.2016 With the arrest of accused Manish, Aakash @ Golu & Aamir Chandigarh Police

has worked out a blind Murder case of Vineet Trehan (Senior Manager of

Reliance jio).

BRIEF FACTS:-

It is submitted that the brief fact of this case are that this case has

been registered on the statement of Sh. Vicky Anand s/o Devki Anand r/o #

63, Ram Vihar Harmilap Nagar Baltana, Zirakpur Mohai Punjab. In his statement

he has stated that presently he is working as Security Guard at Uppal Marbal

Society Mani Majra, Chandigarh, today his duty was from 30.07.2016 at 08.30

PM next date i.e. 31.07.2016 at 8.30 AM. At about 11.25 PM he saw a vehicle

(Car) standing at right side on the main road in front of the gate of Uppal

Society and he heard noise, then he saw the driver of the car came out from

driver side and three other persons also came out from the car another side

and started beaten to the one driver then he given massage at 100 number.

After that he came out then he saw one person lying on the road back side of

the car and three persons fled away from the spot on their motorcycle. In the

meantime the PCR vehicle reached on the spot and carried out the injured

person with them for hospital. These three unknown alleged persons have

attempted to kill him (Driver of the car No.CH-01-BA-4440). Please action may

be taken against them as per law. After that a message recorded from PGI

that one unknown person brought dead admitted in PGI vide CR. No.

201604300092. On this undersigned reached PGI & after inspection the spot.

After taken Finger Print, Blood Sample Photograph of spot a case u/s 302, 34

IPC has been registered. During the course of investigation victim has been

identified as Vineet Trehan s/o Sh. Vinod Trehan r/o # 5421/2 MHC, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh age 38 yrs. A case FIR No. 173/16 U/S 302, 34 IPC PS- Mani Majra,

Chandigarh has been registered. A special team was constituted by W/SSP/UT,

Chandigarh under the supervision of Satish Kumar DSP/East comprising of Insp.

Harminderjit Singh SHO PS- Mani Majra along with other police officials to trace

out the accused.

INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED:-

During the course of investigation accused Manish, Aakash @ Golu &

Aamir were arrested on 21.08.16 on extra judicial confession. The used weapon

Two Axels, blood stained cloth of all accused and used vehicle M/Cycle as

well as Two I-Cards issued by Reliance jio, Three Pen drives & cards of

deceased have been recovered at their behest. During interrogation the

accused disclosed that they murdered the victim, Vineet Trehan for the motive

of robbery. The accused are on Police remand till 27.08.16.

37. 24.11.2016 Chandigarh police arrested Mohd. Azhar resident of Shanti Nagar,

Manimajra, Chandigarh, near Fun Republic, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 23-11-

2016, and recovered 5 gram of Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No. 246,

U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra,Chandigarh.

38. 12.01.2017 One arrested under NDPS Act and recovered 50 gram of Charas

Chandigarh Police arrested Jitender Kumar R/o # 183, New Indira

Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh near Post Office, Motor Market, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh and recovered 50 gram of Charas from his possession. A case FIR

No. 16, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanju @ Miya R/o # 1170, Mori Gate, Mani

Majra, Chandigarh from parking near Shivalik Garden Parking, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh and recovered 100 gram of Charas from his possession. A case FIR

No. 19, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh.

A Case FIR No. 31, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh

against two boys resident of Hallo Majra, Chandigarh who were caught near

Motor Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh, while using fake registration No. HR-

03J-6998 on stolen Aviator Scooter. Both sent to juvenile home.

Puprenorphine injections recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 66,

A FIR No. 159, U/S 332, 353, 34, 147, 149 IPC has been registered in PS-

Manimajra, Chandigarh on the complaint of HC Jaipal of PS-Manimajra,

Chandigarh against Harish, Rajinder, Lal Chand and two lady resident of

Chandigarh, they attacked on complainant, while he was on duty at Sabji

Mandi, MHC, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case.

53. 24.07.2017 One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar R/o Khorali Khera, Distt- Jind (HR) from

near Housing Board Light Point, Chandigarh and recovered 10.25 GM Heroin

from his possession. A case FIR No. 178, U/S 21 NDPS act has been registered in

PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh.

54. 31.07.2017 One arrested in Trespassing

Sh. Jaspal Singh R/o # 2251/1, Madi Wala Town, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh alleged that Sanjeev Sharma R/o # 405/5, Mohalla Dera Sahib,

Mani Majra, Chandigarh trespassed in complainant’s residence and

threatened him on 30-07-2017. A case FIR No. 184, U/S 452, 506 IPC has been

registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Accused has been arrested in this case.

55. 04.08.2017 Two arrested in Kidnapping

Sh. Amit Kumar R/o # 1460, NIC, MM, Chandigarh alleged Raju Khan,

Ashu and others kidnapped complainant in swift car from near Indira Flats,

Manimajra, Chandigarh and further released him after taking extortion money

cash Rs. 52,000/-. A case FIR no. 122, U/S 364A, 365, 34 IPC has been registered

in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Mohd. Irfan @ Raju Khan

R/o # 94, K-Block, colony No. 4, Chandigarh and Manoj @ Chineese R/o #

1742, Mauli Jagran Complex, Manimajra, Chandigarh have been arrested in

this case.

56. 04.08.2017 One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Chotu R/o# 954/A, Mouli Jagran,

Chandigarh, near BSNL Turn MHC Mani Majra, Chandigarh and recovered 500

GM Ganja from his possession. A case FIR No. 186, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been

registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh.

57. 21.08.2017 Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Salim Ahmed R/o# 2196/3, Pipli Wala Town,

Mani Majra, Chandigarh from near tube well Pipli Wala Town, Mani Majra,

Chandigarh and recovered 103 Grams Charas from his possession. A Case FIR

No. 202, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh.

58. 29.09.2017 SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT BY CHANDIGARH POLICE WHILE NABBING ACCUSED IN

MURDER CASE

Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the person namely

Sodaghar s/o Karamat Ali r/o # 1249, Morigate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, who

was involved in murder case of Rafat Kahn s/o Vast Ali Khan r/o # 1249,

Morigate Mani Majra, Chandigarh aged about 31 years and permanent

address village Kachhigarhi, Distt. Shamli UP within very short span.

On 29.09.2017 a telephonically massage has received from Smt. Rabina

w/o Rafat Khan r/o # 1249, Mori Gate Mani Majra, Chandigarh to Station

House Officer, Police Station Mani Majra that she looked CCTV camera at

Budhiraja Shop her husband seeing going outside from this shop at 01.00PM.

After that she looked CCTV Cameras at Atul Jeweler Shop, where she saw that

her father is walking ahead of her husband and her husband is walking behind

him, she asked her father but he refused, prior to this she lodged a DDR No.64,

dated 29.09.2017 regarding missing of her husband Rafat Khan as her father

was not happy of her marriage. Station House Officer reached at spot at #

1219 Mori gate Mani Majra, Chandigarh where Sodaghar was apprehended

by him and enquired matter then he told that he has murdered of Mr. Rafat

Khan with Dant (Iron Wooden Cutter Weapon) and thrown his dead body in

forest near railway bridge back side Duplex Modern Housing Complex Mani

Majra, Chandigarh. She has been identified the dead body of her husband

who was murdered by her father by slapped his neck and fled away from the

spot. Case FIR No.243 dated 29.09.2017 U/S 302, 201 IPC PS Mani Majra, UT,

Chandigarh has been registered against Sodaghar s/o Karamat Ali r/o # 1249,

Morigate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh. Weapon, cloths and footwear has also

been recovered from his residence. The investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft & Burglary cases solved

On 5.1.2018 one accused namely Rajesh Thapa S/O Gopal Thapa R/O Nagla

Basti, Manimajra was arrested by PS-19 staff and recovered one Nokia Mobile

Phone and Cash Rs. 9,400/- which were stolen from Gorkhnath Mandir, Sector-

19, Chandigarh of case FIR No. 8 dated 5.1.18 U/S 380 IPC added 411 IPC PS-

19, Chandigarh. He was produced in the Court on 6.1.18 and obtained 2 days

Police Custody remand. During further interrogation Two Motorcycles make

Caliber, one Scooter make LML Vespa also recovered on 7.1.2018 which were

stolen from the area of tricity.

2. Similarly on 5.1.2018 two accused namely Mohit Verma S/O Late Sh.

Vishvender Kumar R/O # 3223 Sector-21 D, Chandigarh age-26 years and

Balbir Singh S/O Soban Singh R/O # 2310 Sector-22 C, Chandigarh aged 25

years were also arrested by PS-19 Staff and recovered one Laptop (Dell

Company) from their possession which was stolen from room of PG # 3026

Sector-21D, Chandigarh of case FIR No. 4 dated 4.1.2018 U/S 380IPC added

411 IPC PS-19, Chandigarh. They were produced in the Court on 6.1.18 and

obtained 2 days Police Custody remand. During further interrogation 6

Motorcycles also recovered on 7.1.2018 which were stolen from the area of

tricity.

3. Similarly on 6.1.2018 one person namely Nadeem @ Nadu S/O Mukhtiar

Singh R/O # 1050 Morigate Manimajra, Chandigarh also nabbed by PS

Manimajra staff and recovered stolen 1 LED, 2 Speakers, 61 Putty Token, 42

pieces of water taps and cash Rs.6,000/- from his possession and worked out

two cases of burglary i.e. case FIR No. 6 dated 3.1.2018 U/S 380/457 IPC added

411 IPC and FIR No. 9 dated 5.1.2018 U/S 380/457 IPC added 411 IPC of Police

Station Manimajra.

4. Similarly on 6.1.2018 one juvenile also nabbed by PS-Indl. Area Staff and

recovered stolen purse from his possession and worked out case FIR No. 379

dated 30.12.2017 U/S 380/457 IPC PS-I.A. Accused was produced in the juvenile

court and sent to juvenile home, Sector-25, Chandigarh on the same day.

Regularly sincere efforts have been made to prevent and detect crime and to

maintain Law and order intact. Beside this special attention has been paid to

improve community policing. During 01.01.2018 to 18.05.2018, 2 cases of snatching

were worked out by arresting 2 persons and recovery of stolen items was made.

9 cases of Motor Vehicle theft have been worked out by arresting 3 persons and

recovery of 9 vehicles was made. 11 cases of burglary were worked. Out. Besides

above 11 drug peddlers were arrested from them 400 gm charas, 5.6 gm smack,

36.35 gm heroine, 66 gm opium, 1 kg 765 gm poppy husk were recovered from

their possession. 4 cases of Gambling were registered against9 person who were

arrested while playing satta/gambling. 10 PO have been arrested by staff of

police station MM, Chandigarh during this period.

House Theft and Burglary cases solved

Staff of Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh arrested three persons in

involved in vehicle Theft and Burglary cases case within very short span.

On 18.05.18, a case FIR NO. 232 U/S 379 IPC PS MM was registered

that on 17/05/18 at night, Amplifier, woofer and some valuable documents, Bank

UKO copy were found stolen from Car Maruti ZEN No. CH03L 1800 which was

parked near H.No. 5328, MHC, MM, Chandigarh. A team of SHO Mani Majra Insp.

Ranjit Singh along with others officials has constituted under the supervision of

DSP Sh. Satish Kumar SDPO East to nab three person at naka near RIMT school

Mani Majra, Chandigarh. During the course of further investigation they

18 Car Music System theft cases solved with huge recovery Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the accused, who

was involved in vehicle music systems theft cases within very short span. On 26.06.18 a case FIR NO.285 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS MM in

which complainant stated that on 24/06/18 at about 04.00 AM he parked

his car no. CH 01A 1832 Alto colour grey in the parking of Shivalik Parking

near his house, and at about 07.30 AM he saw his Car, he saw that his

car’s woofer, Amplifier, Rs. 100-150 coins and some documents were not in

the car, which stolen by unknown person. Such types thefts also

committed in the area from various vehicals. Regarding the theft a team of SHO Mani Majra Insp. Ranjit Singh along

with others officials has constituted under the supervision of DSP Sh.

Satish Kumar SDPO East to nab the accused. In this regard on dated

27.06.18 as per the secret information above said accused arrested

during naka near RIMT school Mani Majra in above said case and stolen

articles regarding above said case recovered. The car of accused CH 01

BJ 1953 Honda city also taken in the possession which front side no. was

tempered by black tap. During the course of further investigation the accused disclosed about his

other thefts in the area of Chandigarh and Mohali. With the arrest 8

cases of music system thefts were solved.

Suraj s/o Sh. Krishan r/o #637, near Mata Raj Kaur Gurdwara Mani Majra,

Chandigarh age 28 yrs, Abdul Kadir @ Sahil s/o Sh. Salamat Ali r/o Jhuggi, Mansa

Devi road, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh age 27 yrs & one juvenile who were

involved in vehicle Theft, Robbery and Burglary cases within very short span.

On 9.07.18 a case FIR NO.306 dated 9.07.18 U/S 379 IPC PS MM

registered on the complaint of Sh. Balak Nath S/O Gomati Parsad R/O # 436/5

PWT Mani Majra Chd. He stated that on 06.07.18 at about 9.00 PM, he parked,

his M/C No.CH01AF-8067 (Splendor Plus) Black color, which was parked near his

above said house. But he saw next Morning his Motor Cycle was not there which

stolen by unknown person. Regarding the theft a team of SHO Mani Majra Insp.

Ranjit Singh along with others officials has constituted under the supervision of

DSP Sh. Satish Kumar SDPO East to nab the accused. In this regard on 11.07.18

as per the secret information above said accused arrested during naka near BSNL

Turn, Mani Majra in above said case and stolen vehicle recovered.

During the course of further investigation the accused disclosed about

One case FIR No. 307 dated 9.07.18 u/s 380,454 IPC PS MM on the

complaint of Sh. Anandita Ghosh w/o Sh. Bablu Ghosh R/O # 637 Mata Raj Kaur

Gurudwara MM Chd age-34 yrs. That on 5.07.18 at about 8.35 PM she disclosed

that she was going to Calcutta (West Bengal) for some domestic works and after

some time when she came back her home and she saw that some gold ornaments

and documents found missing from the Elmirah. She verified that one of his

neighbor namely Suraj stolen the above said ornaments and her daughter also

told her that Suraj also visited their house repeatedly. During the course of

investigation accused namely Suraj s/o Sh. Krishan r/o #637, near Mata Raj Kaur

Gurdwara Mani Majra, Chandigarh age 28 yrs. has been arrested on 10.07.18 and

all stolen articles i.e. Gold Chain with locket, One ladies Ring, One Gold Bangle,

Earrings and documents worth Approx. Rs. 1,75,000/- recovered.

One case FIR No.308 dated 9.07.18 u/s 392, 34 IPC PS MM has been

registered regarding robbery on the complaint of Sh.Sanjeev Kumar s/o Mahabir

Singh r/o #395 Sec-20 PKl (HR) age-36 yrs. He stated that today i.e.9.07.18, at

about 10.15 PM, he going to his house Panchkula via Motor Market, when he

reached near Dhir Transport Mansa Devi Road two persons who were pedestrian

started beaten him and snatched his purse containing RS-600/- and some

documents and ran away towards Indira Colony, Chandigarh. During investigation

accused namely Abdul Kadir @ Sahil s/o Sh. Salamat Ali r/o Jhuggi, Mansa Devi

road, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh age 27 yrs arrested on 10.07.18 as chasing him

by the police party under the supervision of SHO PS MM and accused

apprehended with the help of secret sources. And robbed Purse containing Cash

and documents has been recovered.

All accused namely Shankar S/o Sh. Lal Paswan R/o # 321 Shastri Nagar MM

Chd Age 18 ½ yrs, Suraj s/o Sh. Krishan r/o #637, near Mata Raj Kaur Gurdwara

Mani Majra, Chandigarh age 28 yrs, Abdul Kadir @ Sahil s/o Sh. Salamat Ali r/o

Jhuggi, old Ropar road, Mansa Devi road, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh age 27 yrs

arrested & one juvenile apprehended in above said cases of Vehicles Theft,

Burglary & Robbery. The vehicle were parked in the free parking area UT.,

Chandigarh and nearby Jungle Area for the purpose of sale the parts of said

vehicles.

Flag March Conducted by Police Stations

On 07.08.2018, a joint patrolling by SHO PS Manimajra and SHO PS IT

Park along with police station staff was carried in the area of Manimajra,

Chandigarh. SHO Ind. Area along with staff conducted flag march in Market and

residential areas of Sector 29 & 30, Chandigarh. SHO 31 with staff conducted

flag march in Market and residential areas of Sector 31 & 47, Chandigarh. A joint

flag march by SHO PS-19 & PS-26 was conducted in Market area of Sector 19 &

27, Chandigarh. SHO Maloya conducted flag march in Maloya and Daddu Majra,

Chandigarh. Announcement regarding security scenario for the general public was

made through PA system. Thorough checking of parked vehicles in parking lots

and luggage and boxes lying in verandas were checked.

These special checking drives are being conducted under directions of

SSP/UT, Ms. Nilambari Jagdale, IPS issued to all the SDPOs/SHOs of police

stations in their respective areas. These special drives are being conducted by

Police Stations staff under the close supervision of SDPOs and SHOs. All the

SDPOs & SHOs have been briefed about the safety, security of citizens

especially Women & Children and maintenance of law & order in their respective

jurisdictions.

Burglary and MV Theft cases solved

Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the persons involved in

vehicle theft cases and recovered stolen vehicles. On 02.10.18 a case FIR

NO.408/18 U/S 379 IPC PS MM registered on the complaint of Suhail S/o

MohdMatloob R/o #1546/2 Mori Gate Manimajra, UT, Chandigarh. He stated

that on 19.09.18 he went with his friend Gulzar at H No. R/o # 1118/12

Govindpura MM Chd and parked, his Activa No.CH 01 AP 3092 Grey Colour infront

of # 1118/12 Govindpura, Mani Majra. But next morning he saw that his Scootor

was not there which was stolen by unknown person.

Regarding the theft a team of SHO Mani Majra Insp. Ranjit Singh along with

others officials was constituted under the supervision of DSP Harjeet Kaur

SDPO/East to nab the accused. In this regard on dated 07.10.18 on secret

information naka was laid near FR and intense checking under Roko –Toko was

done. During checking 2 boys were apprehended riding stolen vehicle activa and

documents recovered from their possession. During interrogation alleged namely

(1) Bharat Lal S/o Ram Bilash R/o 1855 A EWS Dhanas age 19 yrs (2) Anil

Kumar @ Batisi S/o Suraj kumar R/o # 90 PH 2 BDC Sec 26 CHD age 21

yrs arrested on 7.10.18. During investigation they disclosed that have also

stolen other vehicles from tricityand parked the different area of

NO. 77/18 U/S 379 IPC PS MM and stolen Scooter Aterno no. HR 49B

2992, recovered from back side FR parking as per their disclosure. During

further interrogation other stolen vehicles also recovered on their identification

which were stolen from the different areas of tricity and parked in different

parking area of Chandigarh.

Theft case solved

Chandigarh police solved theft case by nabbing the person namely (1) Amandeep

Singh S/O Jeet Singh R/O village Manakpur Sharif Distt. Mohali PB Age 24 Yrs

(2) Subhash Kumar S/O Ganseh Kumar R/O # Jhuggi near peer Sec. 7 PKL HR

Age 20 Yrs, who had stolen the battery and some documents from Ambulance.

On 10.10.18 a case FIR NO. 416 Dated 10.10.18 U/S 380 IPC Added 411 IPC in PS

Mani Majra on the complaint of Raghupal s/o Duli chand R/o # 2133/1, Pipli wala

Town, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh. He stated that on 9.10.18 at about 10.00 AM,

he parked his Ambulance Repair on back side Motor Mkt petrol pump Manimajra.

But next day he saw that his Battery & other documents was not there which

stolen by unknown person.

During course of investigation a special naka was organized near electricity

office motor market Mani Majra under Roko-Toko campaign headed by ASI

Tehal Singh. Involved persons namely Amandeep Singh S/O Jeet Singh R/O

village Manakpur Sharif Distt. Mohali PB Age 24 Yrs and Subhash Kumar S/O

Ganseh Kumar R/O # Jhuggi near peer Sec. 7 PKL HR Age 20 Yrs arrested on

11.10.18 and stolen Battery and documents recovered from their possession.

Good Work by Civilian

On 29.10.18, a person namely Mohd. Sarif s/o Abdul Rajaq r/o Room No.09,

Thakur Dwara Mandir, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh came in police station and

handed over 01 bag to SHO Mani Majra containing Gold and silver ornaments

(Approx. Value Rs. 2 Lakhs), Pan Card, Mobile Phone, ATM Card, Rs.800 Cash and

some documents which he found abandoned near Thakur Dwara Mandir, during the

checking of the documents SHO Mani Majra contacted Amrit Raj Kaur w/o

Gurmeet Singh R/o #5039/1, MHC, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigah who is English

Teacher in GMSSS, MHC, Mani Majra and same was handed over to Amrit Raj

Kaur.

Mohd. Sarif who is Auto Driver showed his honesty and his principles and

not stumbled by seeing the attractive ornaments.

One arrested in Theft Case

Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the person namely

Ajay S/o Sohan Lal R/, NIC MM CHD age 26 yrs who was involved in the

theft case.

On dated 12.12.17, a case FIR No.331 u/s 380, 457 IPC added 392, 34

IPC was registered on the complaint of Sh. Deepak Kumar S/o Sh. Fakir Chand

Sec-7, Panchkula HRY in which he Stated that on 12.12.17 at about 9.00 PM when

he reached near his car after closing his shop which was parked in front of his

Shop No. 20, Samadhi Gate, MM, Chandigarh, he put his red colour bag containing

cash Rs.1 Lac 50 Thousand rupees on the front seat of left side of his car

No.CH01AS0878 and sat on Driver seat, suddenly two person came near to his car

and one of them took his money bag by opening the car window. Subsequently, he

apprehended one person but later that person manage to escape. When, he chase

them then they fired a Chilli Powder on him and fled away from the spot.

Regarding the theft a team in the supervision of SHO Mani Majra Insp.

Ranjit Singh headed by SI Bahadur Singh constituted to nab the accused. In this

regard on dated 27.11.18 a secret information was received from secret informer

that the accused of above said case is roaming in the area. On this information

SI Bahadur Singh reached near Indira Colony, Sports Complex and on the instant

of secret informer the person was arrested on the spot who later disclosed his

name as Ajay S/o Sohan Lal R/NIC MM CHD age 26 yrs arrested on

27.11.18 and same was identified by the complainant.

It is also pertinent that the said accused and his associates were also

arrested in case FIR No.58 dated 28.04.2015 U/S 392, 34 IPC PS 03, UT,

Chandigarh of robbery of cash Rs.7 Lacs from17/18 light point, UT, Chandigarh

which was registered on the complaint of Sh. Nishant Kothari s/o Sh. Banvari Lal

Kothari r/o # CU-169, Pittampura, Delhi age 33 yrs. The complainant was in Auto

at the time of incident. Later the case was worked out. 71. 02.12.20

02 persons arrested for theft and Burglary

Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the two persons and 03

juveniles who were involved in the vehicles theft and burglary cases in tricity.

In this regard a case FIR No.450 dated 29.11.18 u/s 379 IPC added 411

IPC has been registered in which complainant stated that on 5.11.18 he parked his

Car no. HP 10A 0766 (Maruti 800) which was parked in front of his house parking.

But next morning he saw that his car was not there which was stolen by unknown

person.

On dated 30.11.18, a case FIR No.451 u/s 379 IPC added 411 IPC has

been registered in which complainant stated that on 25.11.18 he parked his Car

no. CH03L 9568 (ZEN Car colour blue) which was parked in the parking of MHC,

MM, Chd. But On 30.11.18, he saw that his car was not there which was stolen by

unknown person.

Regarding the theft two teams in the supervision of SHO Mani Majra

Insp. Ranjit Singh headed by SI vidya nand, HC Balwan Singh, C. Virender, C.

Naveen, C. Bhupinder, C. Palwinder etc. was constituted to nab the accused. In

this regard on dated 30.11.18, on secret information was received from secret

informer that the accused of above said case of maruti 800 are roaming in the

area. On this information HC Balwan along with police officials reached near

Indira Colony, Sports Complex and on the instant of secret informer the person

was arrested on the spot and during interrogation the apprehended were found to

be juvenile and the stolen Car in above noted case a Car No. HP 10A0766 (Maruti

800) and document has been recovered from their possession. After the

interrogation juvenile were admitted in Juvenile Home Sector-25, UT,

Chandigarh.

Further on dated 30.11.18, on secret information was received from

secret informer that the accused of above said case are roaming in the area. On

this information SI Vidya Nand reached near Shivalik Garden back side parking,

on the instant of secret informer, two person was arrested on the spot who later

on disclosed their name as Gopal @ Vicky S/o Nand Lal R/o PKL, HR Age-23

yrs. and Basant Kumar PWT, MM, Chd. Age-18 yrs. Stolen Car No.CH03L

9568 (ZEN Car)and documents recovered from their possession. Two days police

remand obtained and during further investigation on their disclosure that the

stereo of the car stolen by one juvenile and juvenile apprehended. Stereo of the

said car recovered from the possession of juvenile. Juvenile send to the juvenile

home Sec. 25 Chandigarh. During the course of interrogation accused Gopal and

Basant disclosed that before some days ago they along with their associates has

broken the locks and stolen the articles from 5-6 shops in Ram Darbar, UT,

Chandigarh and also stolen some other vehicle in the area of tricity.

From the arrest of 2 accused and 3 juvenile apprehended the below

mention vehicles and stolen articles was recovered from their possession on their

disclosure.

Missing Child Traced out

Chandigarh police traced a missing boy namely Suraj age 3 years in very

short span of time.

In this regard a wireless message was received in Police Station Mani

Majra, Chandigarh at about 1.45 PM that a Boy namely Suraj age 03 years wearing

Green Track suit has been kidnapped by someone near House No. 2900, Mata Raj

kaur Gurudwara, Manimajra, Chandigarh. On this information sensing the gravity

of matter teams has been dispatched under the Supervision of SHO/Insp. Ranjit

Singh including C Bhupinder Singh No.6143/CP, C. Naveen No.6151/CP, C. Virender

Singh No.1880/CP and with beat parties of PS Mani Majra. During the search

missing child found alone in the area of Modern Housing Complex, Gate No.03,

Mani Majra, Chandigarh. Later on the identification of his parents missing child

handed over to his mother namely Lalita Devi W/o Raju Parshad R/o House No

641, Dera Sahib Gurudwara, Mani Majra, UT, Chandigarh. During enquire the

matter it came to light that the child lost his way during playing no one has

kidnapped him. The teams during the entire episode make sincere efforts

regarding the sensitivity of the crime against the children and traced him in very

short span of time. Due to this achievement of Police parents of the child is very

happy.

MM CHD age 23 yrs who were involved in the mobile cheating case in FIR No 02

Dated 01.01.19 U/s 406,420 & added 411 IPC PS MM within very short span. On

dated 1.01.19 complainant Sh. Sobit S/o Sarda Baksh R/o # 31/1 Shiv Thakur

Dawara Mani majra UT CHD age 16 yrs gave a written complaint against two

persons regarding cheating and stated that two unknown persons cheated & took

away Mobile Phone Techno colour , SIM No. 7355394961 & Adhar Card

Photocopy. Accused taken his mobile by saying that they want to make emergency

call to someone. Later on they jumped the wall and fled away. FIR No 02 Dated

01.01.19 U/s 406,420 & added 411 IPC PS MM registered in this regard. During

the course of investigation on secret information team of police station Mani

Majra nabbed the accused 1.Varun S/o Kamal Kishore R/o H No 708, Dera Sahib,

Gurdwara, MM CHD age 30 yrs 2. Jaspreet Singh Mehra S/o Balwinder Singh R/o

# 696/1 Dera Sahib Gurdwara, MM CHD age 23 yrs within 2 hours and above said

Attempt to murder case solved by PS-MM

Chandigarh police solved attempt to murder case by Arresting the

Notorious Criminal namely Parveen Kumar @ Molad S/o Sh Raj Singh R/o Vill.

Halalpur Distt. Sonipat Haryana Age-31 years, involved in murder case and other

Henious Criminal cases.

On 05.12.2018 Case FIR No. 455U/S 307,34,506 IPC & 25,27,54,59 Arms

ActPS Mani Majra has been registered on the complaint of Mr. Bhosala s/o Sh.

Anant Rao r/o #215, NAC, MM, UT, Chd. He stated that he run an Ornament shop

at shop No.816, 1st floor NAC, MM, UT, Chd. On 4.12.18 at about 8.15 PM he was

loitering near the stair. In the meantime 04 unknown persons upstairs and

entered in his shop, they were enabled with pistols and men handled with him and

he cold his worker Sachin and one of the 04 unknown persons open a fire by which

the glass of his shop break down and also threatened his worker Sachin otherwise

shoot him dead and after that all the 04 unknown persons mange to fled away

from the spot in a white color Breeza car bearing No.DL-8100.

During Course of Investigation it came in knowledge through Secret

Informer that Parveen Kumar @ Molad S/o Sh Raj Singh R/o Vill. Halalpur Distt.

Sonipat Haryana Age-31 years is in Rohini Jail, New Delhi in case FIR No-21

Date-02.02.19 U/S-25-54-59 A. Act PS Special cell and he along with his

associate committed the incident in the area of Police Station Mani majra with

Mr. Bhosala.On 08.03.2019 Accused has been taken on Production warrant from

Rohini jail and his 03 days Police remand has been obtained from Hon’ble Court.

During interrogation accused disclosed his involvement in the present case.

During further investigation it came to light that Accused Parveen @ Molad is

absconded after releasing on parole in one murder case FIR No.88/10 , U/S

302,34 IPC PS Kharkhoda Haryana in which he was awarded life time

Imprisonment after jumping the parole he committed the present incident with

the help of his associates for earning some money for there daily need but not

succeed.

On dated 12.04.19 Case FIR No 54 dt. 12.04.19 U/S 379 IPC PS MM Chd on the

complaint of Sh. Mithai Lal S/o Indraj R/o # 163, Darshani Bag, MM Chd., age 38

years in which he stated that he parked his Activa No HR22K- 8930 near

Shivalik Garden, Community Center Parking MM On 11.04.19 At about 11.00 PM.

But when he came back he didn’t find his Activa where he parked it and he search

on his level but all in vain, which is stolen by unknown person. During the course of

investigation on secret information on dated 12.04.19 one juvenile apprehended by

the team of Police Station Mani Majra near wine shop railway crossing Mani Majra

Town, Chandigarh and stolen activa recovered from his possession with in very

short span of time.

missing child/persons; in this regard special team from this Police Station Mani

Checking Exercise in view of Genearl Election-2019

Keeping in view the significance and sensitivity of election time, local police along

with law and order agencies are taking up various exercises of area dominance,

surprise checks. These exercises are effective in nature, create fear in minds of

miscreants and make confidence in general public. One such exercise was taken up

on 8.5.2019 where search operation has been conducted in area of Mani majra i.e

Mani Majra Town, Pipli Wala Town,Old Ropar Road, Jungle area ,Bus Stand Mani

Majra, Govindpura, Parking area including lay down of 03 outer Nakas and 03

inner nakas More than 40 Police officials including one section of CAPF verified

44 persons, 125 Vehicles checked and issued 14 challans to the violators & 8

vehicles were impounded. Such exercises maintain the element of secrecy and are

taken up almost on daily basis at different places. This strategy has given visible

results in keeping a check on street crimes.

Fraudster/Cheater arrested

Chandigarh police arrested fraudster namely Deepak s/o Omparkash R/o house no

120 street no 12 Desh Raj colony Panipat, Age 28 yrs.

The case FIR NO 441/18 u/s 420 IPC was registered on the complaint of Ms.

Pinki D/o Sh. Prem pal R/o # 1392 Mouli Complex CHD age 23 yrs. She alleged in

her statement that on dated 19.11.18. She went to SCO No. 809 PNB Bank NAC

MM chd to deposted the amount 45000/- in her account When she reached the

bank one unkown person offer his assistance to deposted the amount in the

account, that alleged person projected himself employee, but that person fled

away with the amount of 45000/- .

During the course of Investigation a special team has been constituted under the

supervision of Inspector Ranjit Singh SHO Mani majra and the photographs of

alleged has been published in electronic media and print media to trace out the

alleged . From the secret sources it came to light that alleged person is in jail at

Delhi. On dated 24.05.2019 alleged person has been taken on production warrant

and arrest in present case and obtained two days police remand . During course

of interrogation he confessed his crime. The accused has also been identified by

complainant. During further investigation accused Deepak confess that due to

addiction he done various fraud in Delhi and Mani Majra. On that day he visited at

Mansa Devi when he was going back then he committed the crime with complaint

girl.

Theft cases solved

On 24.5.2019, Chandigarh Police has achieved a success by arresting one accused

namely Mohammad Salim S/o Jalil Ahamad R/o Vill- Mandali Samaspur Delpa, PS-

Nakasha, Distt- Sambhal, UP age-29 years who found involved in theft case.

Mr. Rohit S/o Anil Kumar # 11/1, Vashisht Nagar Ambala Cantt reported

that he is residing at H No-1067, Sec-21B Chandigarh with his friend for the last

3 years. On 6.4.2019 he parked his M/Cycle No-HR85B7826 after locking in

courtyard of house. At 1.00 AM he alongwith his friend sleep away. On 7.4.2019

at 6.30AM when he wake up and saw that his mobile phone Samsung galaxy Jio no-

8847652069, Vodafone 9728308943 and his friend mobile phone techno Lamon

I-sky containing duel Sims no Jio 62848103121, Airtal 7087746977 kept on

charging. Both mobile were not found there. His bag containing cash Rs 2000/-

and his bike No- HR85B7826 pulsar was not there. After entered in house,

someone has stolen the same.

On 24.5.19, on the instance of secret informer naka was laid by ASI

Suresh Kumar alongwith Police party and after seeing the accused Salim on

motorcycle, the secret informer alluded towards Salim and left the place, Salim

was asked about the Motorcycle documents, but he couldn’t produced the

documents. On matching the chassis no. and engine no., the M/cycle was found

stolen in case FIR No-49 dated 7.4.19 u/s 380 IPC PS-19, Chandigarh. Therefore,

the M/cycle number HR85B7826 pulsar taken into police possession and the

above said accused namely Mohd Salim has been arrested and 411 IPC was added.

Further, on dated 25.05.2019, he was produced before Hon’ble Court and

obtained two days Police remand. On 26.5.19, one mobile phone Techno Lamon I-

sky have been recovered on the instance of accused.

During the interrogation today, accused disclosed that he has also stolen

bullet M/cycle from sector 20 Chandigarh. In this regard, case FIR No-50 dated

7.4.2019 u/s 379 IPC PS-19 was found registered. After arrest, he has been

taken on police remand for 01 day and the stolen M/Cycle has been recovered on

the instance of accused Mohd Salim from Hallomajra, Chandigarh. It is pertinent

to mention here that following cases have been found registered against the said

Pistol and Cartriges recovered under Arms Act

Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the person namely Sonu @

Sehra S/o Swaran R/o # 1317, Rajiv Coloy sec 17 Panchklua Haryana age 20

years who were arrest red handed with a country made Pistol 32 Bore along with

3 lives cartridge .

In this regard On dated 01/06/2019 the case FIR no 71/19 U/S 25-54-

59 arms Act PS Mani Majra Chd has been registered. In which it is stated that

SI Vidya Nand along with HC Amarjit Singh 467, C Varinder 1880, C Palvinder

Singh 1868 were on patrolling duty in Police station Mani Majra area. Secret

information received from a secret informer that a boy namely Sonu @ Sehra is

coming from Kalagram light point towards BSNL Turn along with Desi Pistol and

live cartridge. On this information police party reached on spot under the close

supervision of Insp Ranjit Singh SHO PS Mani Majra Chd. Where they found that

above mentioned accused is found coming from Kalagram light point towards

BSNL turn and after seen the police party the accused turn-up and run away

towards Mauli Jagran. Police party immediately chased and apprehend him. On

frisking him a country made pistol .32 bore along with 3 live cartridge recovered

from his possession . He has no any license and permit regarding this pistol and

no any satisfactory reply regarding the illegal arms and cartridge in his

possession. The accused Sonu @ Sehra S/o Swaran Singh R/o # 1317, Rajiv

Colony Sec-17 PKL HR age 20 yrs has been arrest in above said case. During

investigation accused Sonu@ Shera disclosed that before three and four months

AM while he was sleeping at roof of his house, he heard a noise that

someone walking at roof of his house. He at once wake up and found that

MM, Chd, Mohd Yakub Ahmed S/o Islamudin R/o # 2172, NIC, MM, Chd

age 28 years, who was absconded after the recalling the order of

suspension of sentence in rape case. The brief facts of the case are that a Case FIR No.113 dated

20.02.13 U/s 376 added 120 B IPC PS Mani Majra chd was registered on

the complaint of a lady living in Mani Majra against Arun Kumar S/0

Ramesh Kumar R/0 Rambagh Road, Basti no. 06 near Govt School, Ambala

Cantt age 28 years. She stated that Arun Kumar is living with her in Chd,

he was Pvt. Driver and having affair with him, on the pretext to marry

her, Arun made physical relation with her but later on denies marrying her

and threating to kill her. During the course of investigation accused

namely Arun S/o Lt. Sh. Ramesh R/o Near Govt. School, Rambag Road G.

No.6 Balmaki Basti Ambala Cantt, was arrested on 13.8.13. On dated

14.05.2014 accused was rewarded 07 years rigorous impersonment with

fine of Rs. 01 lakh from the honorable court of Mrs. Anshu Shukla ASJ,

Chandigarh . After this conviction accused filed a criminal appeal No.

3048-SB of 2014 came up for hearing before the hon’ble Punjab and

Haryana High court and on 04.11.2016 the hon’ble Punjab and Haryana

High Court suspend his sentence. After that accused has been released on

bail after furnishing the bail bonds.The case is under trial in Hon’ble high

court, but, on 19.05.2017, the accused Arun Kumar had again assaulted

upon the applicant with bad intenion and a Fir No. 488 dated 22.05.2017

U/s 148,149,323,325 IPC Police Station Thaneshar Kurukshetra HR has

been registered against the Arun Kumar. After this incident, lady

applicant filed an applicantion U/S 439/2 Cr.P.C for cancellation of

suspension of sentence vide CRM No. 8065/2018 .On 26.03.2019 the

Hon’ble High Court Punjab and Haryana allow the applicantion of the

applicant by recalling the order dated 4.11.2016 with the direction that

appeallent Arun has clearly misused the concession of suspension of

sentence by attacking the complainant. Later on 26.03.19 the court has

passed an order that the appellant- Arun to surrender with in a period of

two weeks before the concerned authorities, if fail to do so then arreste

the accused . The accused could not surrender himself in stipulated

period.The accused person was undergone since long time. After receiving

IPC PS Mani Majra, Chd was registered, On the complaint of Sh.Kamal Aggarwal

S/o Madan Lal R/o # 339, Ashoka Garden Colony, Karnal Road, Kaithal HR. alleged

that he deals in the business of sale and purchase of school bags. On dated

30.8.19 he along with his brother came in Mani Majra after visited the holy place

Mansa Devi Temple, when they were returning back, they reached at Mani Majra

Bus Stand and talking with each other that there is good scope for school bags in

Mani Majra area market, where one unknown person heard there conversation and

came near to them. He asked them that he also deals in the business of school

bags. During talking that person persuade them to show the bags in godown

situated at Zirakpur PB. After seeing the material in Godown they finalized the

deal at the amount of Rs. 2 lacs. Alleged person assured them that whenever the

payment handover to the owner of godown then bags will be loaded in the vehicle.

On this insurance they reached at HDFC Bank Manimajra and withdrawal the

amount of 1 lacs from bank and 1 lac which kept is in own pocket, handed over to

alleged person (Total 2 lac rupees) and went to housing bored L/point in his car.

When they reached housing bored L/Point then alleged person stated that the

car standing in opposite side of the L/Point is the owner of the said godown and

came out form the car on the pretext that he will came after the amount handed

over to the owner of the godown. But after some time accused person disappear

with the amount of Rs. 2 Lacs and came to know that he did not handed over the

amount to the said car owner/godown owner. Later on complainant also came to

know that accused is not related to that godown which was shown to them; due to

this accused hoodwink the complainant.

Sensing the gravity of the matter a team was immediately constituted along with

SI Vidya nand, HC Amarjeet Singh, C Virender, C Bhupinder, C Naveen, C

Palvinder under the supervision of INSP Ranjit Singh SHO Mani Majra. During

investigation of the case today a secret information has received from the secret

informer that accused is about to fetch the train from railway station from

BSNL Turn Manimajra, a naka has been laid down near BSNL Turn, and after some

time accused Karan S/O Lt Sh Baldev Kumar C/O # 1079, Mori Gate, Mani majra,

Chd. permanent R/O Tibba road gali No. 08 Maya Puri Chowk, Punjabi Bagh,

had Kidnapped a minor Girl aged about 13 years. The Brief Facts of the case is

registered on the complaint of lady resident of Samadhi Gate Mani Majra

Chandigarh wherein she alleged that her Daughter has been Kidnapped by lady,

who lives with them for the last 03 Months, as they incidentally met in train and

after listing the unassisted story of that lady Complainant gave her shelter at

her home, further as per location provided by technical cell, the present location

of mobile phone of accused is found Paharganj, New Delhi, a special team has also

been Constituted Under the supervision of SHO PS Mani Majra Chandigarh and

dispatched to New Delhi to traced out the Kidnapped Girl. During investigation

the kidnapped Minor Girl was recovered from the possession of the accused from

Paytm and went away, when complainant confirmed from Paytm officials they denied to received any

amount and than complainant released that she has been cheated.

Sensing the gravity of the matter a team has been immediately constituted under the supervision

Majra. During investigation secret information received that accused persons are roaming near railway

track Mani Majra Chd. On this information accused persons namely 1. Manpreet Singh S/O Nirmal Singh

R/O Village Ladupur, District-Gurdashpur age-36 years 2. Lady namely Anmol S/O Budh Ram R/o House

No. 6520 Sector 56,Chandigarh age 19 years with alleged activa No. CH-BX-3715. Today accused are

being produced in court and sought for 03 day police remand therefore further interrogation to work

The brief facts of the case are that on dated 02.04.2020, FIR NO.49,U/S 379-

A,356 IPC added 411 IPC was registered in this Police station on the complaint of

Smt.Poonam Kumari w/o Jawalla Parsad R/O h no. 378, Mohalla Dera sahib

Gurudwara, Mani Majra, Chandigarh. Age-48 yrs. she stated that she was

purchasing vegetable from vendor from near her street in the meantime 01 activa

rider looking hindu gentle man came from her behind and snatched her gold chain

Salim Ansari age 36 y s/o Wazir Mohammad r/o house no.1367 Mori Gate Mani

Brief facts of the case FIR no. 83 dated 21.5.2020 u/s 22 NDPS act PS

Mani Majra are that today i.e. 21.05.2020, Asi Varinder Singh along with police

party under the close supervision of Insp. Jaswinder kaur, SHO Mani Majra Chd,

was on naka duty near Bsnl turn, MHC Mani Majra Chandigarh. At about 11.30 am,

they saw that 01 person is coming from kalagram light point carrying a red colour

bag on his back towards naka point after seeing the police party at naka point

accused immediately moved back. On this they apprehended that person on the

basis of doubt, on interrogation, person is identified as Salim Ansari s/o lt sh

Wazir Mohammad r/o h.no.1367 Mori gate Mani Majra age 36 years. During his

sudden checking 1600 capsules of tramadol hydrochloride, dicyclomine,

hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleare probhited drugs recovered from his

possessed bag. the accused salim ansari failed to show any licence or permit to

keep the above mentioned capsules in his possession. during course of

investigation accused person has been arrested and recovered prohibited drug

capsule 1600 were taken into police possession through sealed parcels. further

investigation is going on. besides this, accused Salim Ansari is a habitual drug

smuggler who was earlier booked in case FIR no. 65 dated 02.03.2016 u/s 22

NDPS act ps Mani Majra, Chandigarh with 240 prohibited drug capsule, which is

still under trial in district court, Chandigarh. accused Salim Ansari will be

produced in the duty magistrate in due course.

During interrogation it came in light that accused Salim Ansari purchased

the probhited drugs from (Chemist shop owner) in Saharanpur and accused

randomly sale these drugs at mobile locations and earned Rs.1,000/- for 01 trip

and besides it he is electrician and earns 10 to 15 thousand Rs. per month.

Subba,near Nada Pall, Naya Gaon,SAS Nagar(Mohali).

The brief facts of the case are that on dated 02.06.2020 a case FIR NO.88 dated

02.06.2020 u/s 302 IPC PS Mani Majra has been registered on the complaint of Rajan age 24 years

s/o Mangru r/o house no.2238/15 Street no.09 Shanti nager Mani Majra. He stated that he is car

painter at Parveen AARA shop c/o 36/5 PIPLI WALA town Mani majra and his paternal uncle Bhulawan

Rawat age about 60 years was labour in same AARA for the last 30 years,one boy namely Karan who is

living in Aare wali Gali was exchanging hot words with his paternal uncle for the last many days and on

01.06.2020 the boy namely Karan again argued with his uncle and warned his uncle to eliminate him. On

02.06.2020 when complainant at about 7:30 AM reached at Parveen AARA c/o 36/5 PIPLI WALA

town Mani Majra and saw that his uncle was laying in pool of blood and he is in full confidence that

Karan has murdered his uncle due to old enmity.

During investigation, CCTV footage has been scrutinized, blood samples and another

significant evidences has been also collected from the scene of crime with the help of forensic team

under the close supervision of DSP DILSHER SINGH CHANDEL along with INSP/SHO JASWINDER

KAUR and DVR of CCTV camera has also been taken into police possession and after intensive

investigation a Aadhar card bearing No. 433409902599 has been found near the place of occurrence

which belongs to Karan(Suspected accused)and it has came in notice that accused person was found

seen in CCTV footage with the liquor bottle in his hand and arguing with deceased Bulawan. Further

the team is headed by INSP/SHO Jaswinder kaur under the close supervision of DSP Dilsher Singh

Chandel and finally accused person namely Karan has been arrested from near Vita booth local bus

stand Mani Majra and on the identification of Complainant, accused person has been arrested.

During interrogation the accused person has disclosed that he was known to Bulawan for the

last many days as he was working at Chunni Lal Dabha situated in Aare Wali gali adjacent to the Crime

Scene and he often met with deceased Bulawan and during this period he has left his job from

Dabha,after knowing this fact deceased Bulawan managed to get open the tea stall for Karan(Bulawan

financially helped Karan) near Govt electricity office Moter Market and the tea stall was running well

and Karan was minting good money from tea stall. Further accused karan disclosed that whenever he

met with Bulawan he always discussed about his business and earnings.

On dated 01.06.2020 accused Karan visited the Aara C/O 36/5 Pipli Wala Town Mani Majra

having liquor bottle with him some of which was already consumed by him and offered liquor to

deceased Bulawan but he denied to drink during this period Bulawan again started discussion about his

tea stall business and his earnings and also told that tea stall business is running good and Bhulawan

wants to adjust his son in Karan's tea stall business. on this, accused Karan lost his temper(As he was

already in the influence of liquor) and both started exchanging hot words in loud voice and accused

Karan pushed deceased Bulawan and strangulate him with the help of safa and assaulted on him with

the bottle to show the incident an accident he attack on the deceased near the downstairs near the

small entry gate of Aara. Accused karan also disclosed that he do not want to share his profit from

tea stall business with anyone. Further investigation is going on.

that he has stolen some other vehicles from Mani Majra area.The 02 days Police

remand of accused has been sought from Hon’ble court to affect the recovery of

other stolen vehicles,same has been permitted by Hon’ble court and during

further interrogation accused disclosed that he has given the stolen vehicles to

7 two wheelers recovered

In a major breakthrough; a team of police station Mani Majra under the

supervision of SDPO East Smt. Palak Goel has achieved success with the arrest of

two thieves who were committing two wheeler thefts in the jurisdiction of PS

Mani Majra and trycity area.

The brief facts of the Case are that on 07.09.2020 a case FIR No. 141/20 U/s

379 IPC added 411, 34 IPC was registered in Police Station Mani Majra on the

complaint of Man Bahadur S/o Veer Bahadur R/o # Shop no. 23 Peer Baba road,

Baltana stated that on 04.9.20 evening, he came to Shivalik Garden on his activa

No. CH 01 AW 4105 grey color and parked his vehicle in the parking. When he

returned back he didn’t found his vehicle there.

During this drive, on secret information, two thieves namely Vishal S/o

Thakur Parshad Pandey R/o #264, Vill-Rally, Sec-12A, PKL HR age 18 yrs, 2.

Chirag S/o Sanjeet Kumar R/o #120, Vill-Rally Sec-12 A, PKL HR age 18 yrs were

apprehended with a stolen Activa. Both the thieves have committed the vehicle

thefts in the jurisdiction of PS as well as tricity area of Panchkula, Derrabassi,

Ambala etc. Today accused persons were produced in the court and 01 day police

remand has been obtained. During police remand, the accused confessed of

committing thefts in the tricity area and 07 more vehicles have been recovered

which they have parked at different places. Both the thieves are school drop

outs and used to commit thefts for joy rides and making an impression in their

friend circle and girls. Further investigations are on.
