On a broader base, this short course aims to develop your abilities on the six cognitive levels: (1) knowledge; (2) comprehension; (3) application; (4) analysis; (5) synthesis and (6) evaluation. During examination, you should therefore be able to demonstrate your capacity in the outcomes listed above.

Who should enrol?

This course is ideal for you if you have registered with the Chamber of Mines to complete the examination for the Certificate in Rock Mechanics – Paper 1 Theory, but is open to any person employed in the mining industry with the required certification to satisfy the admission requirements.

Course fees

R13 366.00 per delegate (VAT incl.)Course fees include all course material and refreshments during contact days.

Admission requirements

Prospective delegates should have successfully obtained a Strata Control Certificate prior to enrolment on this course.
