It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change – Charles Darwin

There are a lot of jobs in the future. Right from cyber security specialist to a think tank analyst, and from a vertical farmer to a sustainability professional.

Three years before, when European Best Innovator club had a meeting, people realized that the greatest challenge the globe would face in few years would be sustainability.

Time has come where communities have started focusing on reducing costs, carbon accounting and corporate social responsibility.

The workplace (and our home) of the future will have to utilize resources to the maximum level. So, when it comes to designing them, it has to be energy efficient. This will result in a great place to live and work.

DREAM:Her name is Emma. She's an architect. Unlike others, she uses nature as a design tool and develops projects that are sustainable and utilizes resources to the maximum. Emma is a mother. She is a creator of her work time and workplace, giving her opportunity to be with her son whenever she wants. Her quantum computer monitors her work time and health at periodic time intervals to ensure that they are at their highest level. Her education didn’t have blackboard or a classroom. Instead, she was educated by organized exploring, understanding and then applying. She creates sustainable solutions for a better future.

An example for a sustainable architecture would be the Eden Project which is an artificial greenhouse that uses the most efficient structural solution.

When one examines closely, it can be found that ideas from biology can pave way for radical increase in resource efficiency.

The workplace has a virtual space where the organization is connected to the rest of the world

The organization will have a meeting twice during a month to discuss about the long term plans

The organization believes in the “Triple Bottom line” concept of economic success, social well being, protection of environment and cradle-to-cradle design (A design that models Human industry on nature`s process that views materials as nutrients that circulate in a healthy manner with safe metabolism)

Strategy Transparency Sustainability

Depending on the clients requirements, these architects will use nature as a design tool, work on the plan to find out the most feasible solution that can be implemented.

These people are given the flexibility to work from their home, host virtual conferences with the clients and colleagues.

Periodic medical checkup and a Physicians advice will be given to the employees.

With work life balance and flexibility in work, the organization`s outcome is increased in a positive way and it can retain its position by offering incentives and investment freedom

THE PERFECT EDUCATION:

Studying Nature is the best way to create a sustainable design.

Biomimicry, derived from the word “bios” and “mimesis”, its a design discipline that focuses on creating sustainable solutions for the future by emulating nature`s strategies and patterns that are time tested.

Currently, online courses have been designed to study about Biomimicry
