Kindness is action.
Kindness is a choice. Anyone at any age can choose
to be kind.

O Albert was born in the Dominican Republic in 1980 and was raised primarily by his grandmother.
O His family was very poor and they lived communally, like a big camp site.
O Albert was a very happy child that loved baseball.
O He came to the United States when he was 16 yrs. old.
O He attended Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City.
O In 2000, he married his wife, Deidra, and has four children.
O He began to play for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2001.
O In 2005, Albert formed the Pujols Family Foundation.
O The foundation provides programming for persons with Down Syndrome as well as community awareness.
O The Foundation provides outreach programs that target the poor people living in the Dominican Republic such as medical care and beds.
O It would take 50 acts of kindness per day…….
