This fundraiser, made possible through the efforts of St. Louis' top interior designers, will feature 13 gorgeous handcrafted chairs from 14 designers. Each chair will be for auction as part of Variety Boutique at this year's fashion show. Variety Boutique, often featuring world-class trips and local vendors will be the perfect fit for this new Chairs for Children fundraiser and we can’t wait to debut each one! From ruffled and girly designs to painted rubber ducky themes to classical elegant looks - there will be a chair to fit any room. Each chair will be on display at Margie Imo's preview party on April 10th. Admission in to this preview event is complimentary. All proceeds benefit Variety to directly fund programs and vital medical equipment for St. Louis children with disabilities. Chairs  for  Children    

St. Louis (March 26, 2013) –  New to Variety Week this year, Chairs for Children is to take place

at the annual Runway Lights Fashion Show. This fundraiser, made possible through the efforts of

St. Louis' top interior designers, will feature 13 gorgeous handcrafted chairs from 14 designers.

Each chair will be for auction as part of Variety Boutique at this year's fashion show. Variety

Boutique, often featuring world-class trips and local vendors will

be the perfect fit for this new Chairs for Children fundraiser and

we can’t wait to debut each one!

Chairs for Children Participants

Donna Depenthal Gigi Lombrano Frank Patton Interiors

Donna joined Frank Patton Interiors in 2006. Her interest in interior design began with a high school teacher's encouragement. After obtaining her BFA from Kansas University, she worked in both landscape and interior design and continued to explore her interests in weaving and fabric printing, wood working, and currently paints watercolors. Gigi believes that each project should be as unique as the client. Working with color is one of her strong suits and she especially enjoys the building and remodeling process. She has worked with clients in Florida, Georgia, Montana, California and Beijing, China in addition to those in St. Louis, Missouri. The rooms Gigi has created for many local Designer Show Houses have been widely published and the contribution she is making as the current President of the MO-East Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers is greatly appreciated.

Ken Stuckenschneider Stuckenschneider Decoration & Design

Ken Stuckenschneider, principal designer of Stuckenschneider Decoration & Design founded in 2006, specializes in gracefully conceived interiors personalized to reflect the character of the home and homeowners. Specializing in historically inspired traditional architecture and design, Stuckenschneider’s projects included residential, academic and commercial interiors.

Sandra Ford Sandra Ford Design Consultant Inc.

Interior designer, Sandra Ford, began her own design company, Sandra Ford Design Consultant Inc., in 1982 and has enjoyed a wonderful career full of opportunities to make personal connections with her clients. She has a love for a combination of contemporary, traditional and antique design.

Carolyn Grove C.V. Grove Interiors

Carolyn Grove's interior design firm, C.V. Grove Interiors, has been in business for approximately 30 years. Carolyn uses her expertise to enhance a home’s worldly aesthetic - constantly paying attention to modern trends and how they can be incorporated with traditional and antique pieces.

Yvonne Trudeaux Y Designs

Yvonne Trudeaux is an interior designer and the owner of Y Designs for more than 20 years. Her family's deep rooted background in the art industry sparked her love for both commercial and residential design. Yvonne specializes in spatial planning and establishing color palates - working to make each of her clients' rooms unique to their own tastes and preferences.

Emily Castle Castle Design

Emily Castle is a degreed Architect as well as a registered Interior Designer. She got her start working for some of St. Louis’s top Designers and Architects. She formed Castle Design to bring clients expert advice and an unmatched level of client service.

Lynn Eastin Lynn Eastin Interiors

Lynn Eastin has been practicing interior design for 17 years. Her philosophy and style leans toward clean lines, unfussy accessories, and allowing the architecture of a structure or space to speak for itself.

Elke Koch EK Interiors

Elke Koch, owner of EK Interiors, is passionate about design. EK Interior Design has been in the U.S. since 1989 but was previously located in Europe. EK Interior design has very versatile abilities that fit the needs and preferences of all clients.

Diane Breckenridge Designer Diane Breckenridge grew up around creative mentors and entrepreneurs. Her

Lenore Pepper is principal owner and designer of Edwin Pepper Interiors with her husband. They have developed a culture of professionalism, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service. Their great success allowed them to grow to the point that they were able to expand their local business to include regional, national, and international clients.

Holly Blumeyer's company, Holly Blumeyer Interior Design, is a full service firm with successful projects across and outside the United States. Holly utilizes traditional styles with an eclectic feel but her firm is able to do anything to fit the needs of their clients.

Since 1932, Variety the Children’s Charity serves children with physical and developmental

disabilities in the St. Louis region, from infancy to age 21. Variety focuses on four core areas to

help kids become independent and productive: gifting medical equipment for mobility and
