SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The main areas of concern:-Study of the structureof gas flames;-Study of the problems of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) for creating new and improvedtraditionally produced materials;- The synthesis of high-conductive ceramic material;-Research of regularities of the composite ceramics based on carbides, silicide, borides of transition metals under conditions of SHS;- Development of nanotechnology and obtaining carbon nanostructured multifunctional materials (sorbents for water purification from heavy and radioactive metals, etc.);-Study the extraction and processing of oil and gas using the principles of the combustion process;- Development of materials with desired physical and chemical properties on the new high-performance technologies;- Development of energy-intensive and environmentally friendly technologies;- Mathematical modeling of combustion processes;-Plasma chemistry.
