CHAINS OF SLAVERY (SUJET 33) In the following research paper, students will deal with the subject of slavery by way of analysing historical facts, literary texts and cinematography. The idea will be to compare and contrast at least two sources in the goal of understanding this global and topical phenomenon. As a guidance, here are a couple of topics that students could work on:

• Abolition of slavery in the USA • Slavery during the Roman Empire • Slavery in literature • Modern slavery
