ABSTRACT FOR CHAIN REACTION
It’s a preliminary idea just to send an abstract .. we are still working on
including innovative ideas that we will incorporate while actually making the
model..
Module 1::
STEP INVOLVED::
[1. According to the jpg file we will start from a high position into a conical
funnel with a hole Connecting it to a path into helical path..
2. At the end of the helical path the ball jumps into another funnel via
projectile motion..
3.At the end of funnel there a basket which will connect it with starting point
of helical path.. Where there is provision of another ball following the same
trajectory ..stopped by an obstraction connected by string which will come
under tension when first ball fall into the basket..n second ball starts it
motion..
4. after completing its helical trajectory second ball fall on a incline path.
5. incline leaves it to a basket connected to a pulley..whose another end
carries a small weight which goes up when ball falls into the basket{coming
from incline}.
6.The second end goes up hit the third {a bit heavy}ball on another incline
which free falls into the see saw whose other end has our forth ball..which flies
across to it a big piece of cloth.]picture 1 indicates this portion

7.[Whose incline will lead to dominoes which will hit a ball ball goes inside a
glass{lying position}whose back is attached to a thread connecting to an 2
threads which ultimately connected to 2 obstacles…
8.The left obstacle will come down which supported the ball with 2-3 nail
attached to it .. Ball freely fall to a ballon[with water inside] {ballon is inside a
box type structure a bit inclined}..so when ball comes down ballon bursts and
water inside it comes down through a designed path carrying along a small
plastic ball which ultimately lead it to a water pond shaped structure on which
a boat is there n the ball ultimately floats on it…]picture 2 indicates

9.[The right obstacle when removed will lead to our remaining path…now the
ball let say ball no.6 goes through a path leading to funnel..
10.The basket attched to funnel there is a thread which connects to the ballon
setup according to figure the ballon will burst and incline will converted into
small incline in opposite directionand our ball no.7 will is ready to go down..
11.now. Ball no.7 will again follow the pulley mechanism whose other end is
connected to verticle obstraction which will b removed as soon as ball goes
into the basket ..
12.The removal of vertical obstraction will bring our ball no.8 in action..and
ball will go down following a circular helical sort of trajectory leading to
dominoes ..
13.The last domino will pull the string of the obstraction by which final ball
which is going to hit our cart ..

14.Final ball is situated at a small height from the table leading to incline
which is going to hit the cart…..] picture 3 indicates this portion
Module 2::
The Shooting Mechanism
Our shooting mechanism is set up on the top of our cart
which will be struck by the last ball we are using
It includes a cuboid frame with a square plate inside
connected to 4 rubber band and on back side of square plate
there is hookand a string is attached to the hook..the ball will

rest on square plate on front side {due to a bit of inclination
that we will decide after making it practical}in stretched
position ....when cart stops we will cut the string and plate
will fire the plastic ball {resting} to the target..
Concept would more clear via diagram...[picture 4]
