FactsThe head office of CF&S is located in Tallinn (Estonia), with branch offices in Riga (Latvia),

Vilnius and Klaipeda (Lithuania), St. Petersburg, Moscow (Russia) and Almaty (Kazakhstan). The company has over 150 employees.

Aims & MissionCF&S is a provider of wide-range logistic services that was established in 1997. Its objective is to offer high quality and professional transportation services by sea, rail, road and air. Container Transport

We work with you to achieve the outcome that best suits your needs.

FCL & LCL ShipmentsWe use our vast expertise to manage your full-container loads (FCL) and less container loads (LCL). We arrange FCL contract management and LCL consolidation/deconsolidation to ensure the most competitive prices for customers.

Globally YoursWe arrange project shipments on a global basis; the scope of the services we provide embraces all of the elements of the logistics chain from factory collection to delivery to the destination site.

Container Stuffing PlanTo avoid problems such as cargo overflow or wasted space, it is essential for shippers to have a stuffing plan before cargo is loaded into containers.

Port OperationsWith the co-operation of our worldwide network partners and other departments within CF&S, we offer a variety of services to our clients at the point of origin and destination:

— survey and quality control of cargo prior to loading into containers

— loading cargo into containers in terminals

— preparing customs documentation

— cargo insurance, issuing of Through Bill of Lading etc.

Experience & KnowledgeOur range of expertise is wide, starting from small parcel shipments and ending with over-dimensioned loads.

We use our own dedicated trucks as well as our partner network all over Europe — who provide us with the right amount of transport units to please our customers.

Control at Every Stage — experience and knowledge of our employees allows us to organize all kinds of transport

— our trucks are equipped with satellite navigation and tracking systems, allowing us to check their positions online

— all of our drivers have passed dangerous goods training and have valid DG certificates, except for explosives

Range of Services — in cooperation with other CF&S departments (rail, sea and air freight), we offer combined transport which makes our scope even wider

— loads from Europe to Estonia/Latvia and via our terminals onto various destinations in Russia are very common

— we have established regular services with weekly departures from the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium and other origins in Europe to Estonia/Latvia and back

— over the years, we have transported different kinds of cargo, but our main goods are palletized; we also handle other cargo such as boats, agricultural machinery and tractors.

Fleet Availability — besides our fleet of trucks, we have a significant number of partners all over Europe enabling constant terminal-to-terminal transport on a regular (weekly) basis

Railway Transport

We offer freight forwarding by rail in key directions. All of your freight requests are welcome and highly appreciated.

Special 80' (24m) Rail Plaforms80´ rail platforms are special rolling-stock that can be used for the transportation of containers, long-length cargo and different types of wheeled machinery of different sizes.

The platforms are specially equipped with wooden floors, thirty fixing points on the sides and four end holders to secure different types of machinery during transport: combine harvesters, tractors, crushers, bulldozers, excavators etc.

Up to two 40' or four 20' containers can also be loaded on one platform.

Main Activities — Our main activity in Estonia is concentrated at the South Port in Paldiski, which is linked by Ro-Ro lines to the United States (Baltimore and Jacksonville) and the European ports of Harwich, Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven, Lübeck, Antwerp, Tilbury, Gdynia, Stockholm, Kappelskär, Helsinki and Turku.

— Our main activity in Latvia and Lithuania is concentrated at the port of Riga, Ventspils and port of Klaipeda, respectively, which are important gateways for transit shipments to Belarus and Central Asia.

Manchuria / ZabaykalskCF&S boasts lengthy experience in organizing transportation of out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, single-wagon load and container items by railway to and from China via the Manchuria/Zabaykalsk border crossing.

We offer the following services at the border crossing: preparation of cargo fastening schemes for platforms/railcars; obtaining approval of schemes from JSC RZhD (Russian Railways); transloading and fastening of equipment/cargo at the Zabaykalsk station; and process monitoring with a subsequent photographic report.

Chartering — CF&S is chartering vessels for solid bulk goods, general cargo and project cargo

— CF&S is mainly fixing vessels with a deadweight capacity of 1000-10,000 tonnes for carriage of cargo on the Baltic Sea, the North Sea and the Mediterranean

— CF&S will find a vessel that meets all of your requirements

— CF&S has long-standing chartering experience and good contacts with many ship-owners

Forwarding of Shiploads We specialise in solid bulk goods (e.g. grains, peat and wood pellets) and project cargo (e.g. wind generators, large size storage tanks and steel constructions).

— preparation of customs declarations and cargo documentation

Warehousing & Distribution

Warehouse ComplexCF&S operates a warehouse complex in Tallinn in an ideal logistical location — in the direct vicinity of Tallinn ring road and the St. Petersburg highway.

The complex consists of a:

— heated warehouse

— free warehouse

— customs terminal

— customs warehouse

The availability of open storage areas enables us to store and handle non-standard cargo in the open air. The warehouse is equipped with storage racks for approximately 12,000 EUR-pallets, 17 standard loading ramps and one 6.8 m wide access ramp, allowing out-of-gauge cargo to be handled.

— preparation of declarations for transit and guarantee of transport to the customs authority of Estonia and other Member States of the European Union
