About ECF
With over 70 members across nearly 40 countries, the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) unites cyclists’ associations from across the globe, giving them a voice on the international level. Our aim is to get more people cycling more often by influencing policy in favour of cycling within political, economic, and social institutions.

The Velo-city conference series, managed by ECF, is the largest cycling planning conference in the world and provides the best platform for cycling experts, urban planners, bicycle officers, decision-makers, NGOs and researchers to discuss the potential and challenges of cycling. The members of the “Cities for Cyclists” network get free tickets in relation to their member ship contribution.
Mission Statement
“Cities for Cyclists” is a global network of cities working to promote bicycle use in urban areas and encouraging the exchange of knowledge.
Main aims of the network are:
• Exchanging knowledge, solutions and strategies.• Triggering a change in urban planning and political thinking.• Introducing cycle-friendly perspectives in planning and policy practices.• Inspiring and catalyzing cities to take action in promoting cycling by learning from each other.

Membership contribution
