This all-day session will focus on the roles and responsibilities that the wastewater operator-in-training and small system operator will need to successfully operate a small wastewater treatment facility.

To get more specific training in operations, KDHE recommends that operators who attend this session also attend the Small Systems Water Distribution and/or Small Systems Collection on Thursday, August 4, 2016.

Free parking is available in the Yellow Lot #94, located approximately two blocks north of the Kansas Union next to Memorial Stadium. If you would like to park in the parking garage next to the Union, the cost is $1.75 for the first hour and then $1.50 each additional hour. Payment at the exit booth can be made with VISA, MasterCard or American Express. There is a pay station on Level 4 of the parking garage where you can pay with cash. A full refund of registration fees, less a $30 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by July 27, 2016. No refunds will be made after that date.
