This set of certified reference materials of Nitrogen Cast Iron consists of seven kinds as a series. They can be applied to calibrate instruments, evaluate analytical methods coordinate or assign the value when determining Nitrogen Cast Iron. They also can be used for production control and quality supervision in product analysis.
1. Preparation
The materials are smelted in a intermediate frequency induction furnace. Special preparation process is used to ensure the inherence quality. In the end, they are processed to 033mm * 20mm cakes.
2. Certified Value and Standard Uncertainty Standard uncertainty of certified value is obtained by the combination of uncertainty of definite value, ystematical deviation between laboratories and deviation from inhomogeneity of material. They are listed in the following table.

4. Homogeneity Detection The homogeneity of the samples, selected at random,is tested,and it shows that their homogeneity is good
truly. The linearity of certified items is tested in multiple instruments, and it show that the linearity is good. 5. Package and Storage The CRMs are packed in a glass bottle which is placed in a box with a label on it. Each time after using
them, lid the bottle carefully and store the bottle at dry place. 6.
