Please silence all CELL PHONES before the service. — At the time of the OFFERING, we realize not every one carries cash or checks; to donate electronically go to www.skokiecentralumc.org/donate.html — Today as we celebrate HOLY COMMUNION, you need not be United Methodist or a member of Central to participate; everyone of every age who accepts Christ’s invitation to his table are welcome. Our method of com- munion will be to go forward, receive the bread, and dip it into the cup.

FOOD DEPOSITORY REPACK
Volunteers are neede to help repack food at the GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY. Credit for your time benefits the NILES TOWNSHIP FOOD PANTRY. We meet next Satur-day, August 25th at the church parking lot at 7:45 am and return by 1:00 pm. To register call JoAnn Faber at 847-420-0300.
MEN’S DINNER & MOVIE
The next Central MEN’S DINNER AND MOVIE will be Saturday August 25th from 5 to 8 pm. in the log cabin.
The movie will be “All the Money in the World”. The menu will be baby back ribs, home made potato salad, baked beans, and dessert. RSVP to Gerhard Mels at 847-675-0720 by text or voicemail.

COMING EVENTS -ERVIN LAMAUAG CONCERT
We are privileged to have Ervin Lamauag present a con-cert Friday, August 31st in the Log Cabin at 7:30. This is the third concert Ervin has presented at Central. His background includes singing with the Philippine Madrigal Singers and particpating in an International Singing Com-petition in Bangkok, Thailand. He teaches music at the University of the Phillipines College of Music Extension Pro-gram. Ervin tours the states presenting concerts to raise money for rural ministers in Negros, Philippines. Central’s Music Director, Millete Silverio will be accompany Ervin. A free will offering will be taken to support his mission.
