Central boiler hot water space heating This system uses a central boiler (or multiple boilers) to heat water that is distributed through a series of pipes to heat the building. The boiler can also be used as a source for domestic hot water. The hot water heating system can consist of hydronic fan coil units, a radiant floor, hydronic baseboards or combinations of all three systems. Heating can be zoned for individual rooms or area thermostatic control. The boiler can also be used for domestic hot water, which is isolated from the main boiler water heating system via a heat exchanger. This means the space heating water can have anti-freeze or other chemicals added so it can be used to melt snow outside the building, if desired. Special design considerations and sizing guidelines must be followed when considering a hot water heating system. These guidelines can be found in publications like the ASHRAE handbook, or in documents published by trade associations such as the Thermal Environmental Comfort Association (TECA) . Central boiler hot water space heating

This system uses a central boiler (or multiple boilers) to heat water that is distributed through a series of pipes to heat the building.

NOTE: Municipal regulations should also be checked.
