Celebration of National Voters Day

National Voters Day was celebrated in Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School

Mubarakh Mandi on 20th of January 2020 under the guidance of ERO-72 Jammu west

constituency Mr. Ashish Gupta, Joint Commissioner (A), Jammu Municipal Corporation.

A large number of students and staff members participated in the voter awareness

programme. On the occasion painting competition, Debate, Mock drill and awareness

lectures, involving students and staff members were organized where enriching

interactions on the theme were observed. Principal, Mrs. Anita Zutshi and Election Naib

Tehsildar Mtr. Kosar Naz, Jammu Municipal Corporation were present among other

prominent members.

As a part of Celebrations, an impressive function has been held at Govt., Girls

Higher Secondary School Canal Road on 22nd of January 2020 under the guidance of

ERO-73 Jammu west constituency Mrs. Tinna Mahajan, Secretary, Jammu Municipal

Corporation. A large number of students and staff members actively and enthusiastically

participated in the voter awareness lectures related to National Voters day were also

organized by the student and staff members. Principal, Mrs. Parveen Raina, Election

Naib Tehsildar and Mtr. Kosar Naz Jammu Municipal Corporation were present among

other prominent member.

Celebration of Republic Day in Jammu Municipal Corporation.

Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor JMC, Smt. Purnima Sharma Dy. Mayor JMC

and Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS) Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation today hoisted

the National Flag, the Tri-colour at Jammu Municipal Corporation, Town Hall Complex

Jammu on the occasion of 71st Republic Day.

During the occasion Mayor and Dy. mayor JMC convey heart-felt greetings to the

employees of Jammu Municipal Corporation and appreciated the work of

officers/officials as well as SKCs of JMC and stressed upon for fulfilment of their duties

and responsibilities with dedication, hard work and sincerity for a bright and prosperous

society. They also stressed for providing better services to the general public and further

stated that there is a need to educate the general masses to understand the need of the

hour is to maintain our well being by way of keeping our surroundings neat and clean

and it is duty of every citizen to pay more attention in respect of clean Jammu and green

Jammu.

Among others councillors of different wards and other staff from the Corporation

were present on the occasion.

Awareness Program Among Young Voters

Literacy club celebrates awareness program among young voters, an impressive
