September 10, 2013 – February 10, 2014, will mark the ten year anniversary of Kappa Xi Omega Sorority
Incorporated. It will mark ten years of Sisterhood, Action and Service. As a Sisterhood we will celebrate
the majority of 2014. Celebrations will include regional and National celebrations involving all members
and the public. Today we begin our six (6 month) countdown towards this magnificent event! Today we
also reveal the logo for the Sorority’s diamond milestone! This logo will be a constant throughout our
celebrations and publications! Additionally, Kappa Xi Omega will host our tenth (10th) Family Fun Day!
The year 2014 will be a Kaptivating, Kultivating, Kompelling, and Klimatic time for Kappa Xi Omega
Sorority Inc.
The theme for our ten year celebration is Cultivating Our Sisterhood, Continuing Our Legacy. Kappa Xi
Omega‘s celebrations will culminate with a Sorority gathering September 25th-28th 2014 in Baltimore,
Maryland.
Public celebrations will be held throughout the Sorority regions. A few public events are as follows:
Saturday February 8, 2014 - Diamond Day of Service
March 2014- S.O.S. Rewind (Serving Our Sisters) a month long collection drive for a shelter serving women.
Kappa Xi Omega will notify the public of upcoming events through formal invitations and press releases. Kappa Xi Omega Sorority Incorporated is the first community based, community oriented sorority for professional lesbian women regardless label or self-identifier.
