Dinner at Out of the BlueOut of the Blue is Soneva Fushi’s newest addition of culinary delights. Enjoy gastronomic cuisine from all over the world, in whichever style you fancy.

Jungle DinnerExperience nature in all its splendid glory with an intimate dinner in the middle of the jungle. We will pick you up from your villa and take you blindfolded to our secret jungle location. There our chef create a culinary journey where each course tantalises each all your senses.

Dinner at Sobah’s RestaurantNamed after Chef Sobah, Sobah’s is a restaurant located on an uninhabited island only 15 minutes away by speedboat from Soneva Fushi. The cuisine is uniquely Maldivian with modern twists, prepared using traditional cooking methods. The beach restaurant seats only eighteen for dinner. After dinner, guests will be introduced to the starry night sky by our resident Astronomer.

Sunrise BreakfastA delicious breakfast is served whilst watching the mesmerising sunrise from one side of our Island. Enjoy the sound of the waves breaking onto the shore, while you inhale the fresh morning air of the Indian Ocean.

Lunch Buffet at Mihiree MithaaIn the words of Oscar Wilde, “nothing succeeds like excess.” In that spirit we have gone delightfully overboard for you at Mihiree Mitha, which means “here it is” in Dhivehi and almost any dish you crave can be found at our buffet. For lunch or dinner, choose from sushi and sashimi, organic salads, wood-fired pizzas, curries, fish and tandoori. More than thirty homemade ice creams and sorbets await your sweet tooth, along with our homemade chocolates and desserts.

Lunch & Dinner at So BespokeFlames and smoke set the stage for So Bespoke, Out of the Blue’s Teppanyaki table. This open air restaurant commands an incredible view to the west, with unspoilt views of the Baa Atoll. Our experienced Japanese Teppanyaki chef, will be grilling and barbecuing for a small audience of only 8 guests per sitting.

Football Camp by Mikael SilvestreMikael Silvestre, a former pro footballer for Arsenal and Manchester United is hosting a five-day camp for children and teenagers from December 20-24. Expect two to three hours of training a day, broken into two sessions with a match each evening. The sessions cover the Psychological, Technical, Physical, and Social/Emotional aspects of the game.

Lunch & Dinner at So Hands OnAn ode to expertly prepared fresh seafood, So Hands On is a sushi counter with just 5 seats. Chef Akira Koba, another highly skilled and experienced Japanese chef, will be running the table.

Dinner at Down to EarthSet on the sunrise side of the island. A fantastic open kitchen serve a la carte which encompasses going back to nature to perfect the art of cooking by using the optimal cooking methods to extract the most flavor and nutrients using only the best ingredients available. The dishes here are designed for sharing as sharing of food is considered a primal bonding ritual just like families around a home table, tribes around a fire or kin around a hearth.

In Soneva Fushi’s eternal summer, Fresh in the Garden rekindles these sensations from its lofty perch. Island Hopping by SpeedboatVisit two local islands and enjoy a special snorkelling trip to one of the reefs in the Baa atoll. On the local islands, you can gain an impression of the Maldivian islander’s culture and everyday lives; see the mosque, school, boat-building areas, chat to some of the locals and enjoy the classic Maldivian lunch in Maalhos Island. After our local lunch experience, our boat captain will take you to one of the area’s most beautiful reefs for a wonderful snorkelling experience. Private Astronomy Session at Ever Soneva So Celestial Get drawn into a world of celestial glory as you gaze at the night sky through the lenses of our state-of-the-art telescope. Tucked away from the lights of civilisation, our resident astronomer will introduce you to the splendours of the galaxies few have been fortunate to witness. We also offer private tuition on astronomy for those keen to learn more.

Manta SnorkellingJoin us as we search for the enigmatic, graceful, inquisitive and charismatic manta rays in the waters of the Baa Atoll. If the conditions are right, we will go to Hanifaru Bay, located only 20 minutes by speedboat from Soneva Fushi, which has one of the world’s largest population of manta rays. When time and tide align, fortunate snorkelers get to observe and capture a rolling, whirling feast where it may be possible to see hundreds of these large yet harmless creatures congregate to gorge themselves in the plankton rich waters. There are also several other locations close to Soneva Fushi where manta sightings are common, so the exact itinerary of the trip may vary to maximize the chance of seeing these magnificent creatures. If mantas cannot be seen on the trip, the marine biologists will lead an underwater discovery tour to showcase the stunning scenery of the marine life in the Baa Atoll. Manta sightings are frequent but not guaranteed.

Sunset Dolphin CruiseJoin us in search of the most amazing animals in the ocean. Clap your hands to call them as we glide through the water under the sinking sun. Marine Biology PresentationJoin our Marine Biologist for a presentation on the strange creatures of the sea and get a chance to find out more about the threats our marine ecosystems is currently facing.
