A premier resort nestled in the banks of the Missouri River, Cedar Shore Resort is captivating, relaxing, and fun-fi lled. Whether it is a conference or a family vacation, we are your central location with all the ingredients to make it a memorable experience!
Cedar Shore Resort opened its doors for business the summer of 1995. The Resort offers a 99-room hotel, full-service restaurant, conference center with seating capacity for 1290 people, full-service marina, campground, and Current Image Day Spa all located on a beautiful 40-acre campus along the banks of the Missouri River in central South Dakota.
--THE HOTEL--Cedar Shore Hotel offers 99 rooms including riverside
rooms, hillside rooms, poolside rooms, and suites. We also offer handicap rooms with roll in showers, and rooms with king beds. All of our rooms are non-smoking. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. Kids stay free. Pets are welcome for a $10 fee per night. Please call the sales offi ce for information about group room rates.
GUEST ROOMSAfter the completion of our renovation in 2009, all
sleeping rooms now have new mattresses, one cup coffee makers, i-pod alarm clocks, new carpet, and new tile.
Riverside rooms feature two queen beds, refrigerator, wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, iron and ironing board and your own personal deck or balcony overlooking the Missouri River! King riverside rooms available too!
Hillside rooms feature two queen beds, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, iron and ironing boards.
Poolside rooms feature two queen beds, refrigerator, wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, voice mail, movies, Nintendo, iron and ironing board and access to the pool right from your room.
Dining Room Suite features king bed in a separate room with sliding door. Dining room has sofa that makes out into a queen bed, two chairs, table that seats four, wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, deck/balcony overlooking the Missouri River, movies, Nintendo, iron and ironing board.

--MARINA--Cedar Shore Marina is the center of summertime fun! Whether
you bring your own boat or rent one of ours, you can count on a memorable Missouri River experience. Our 120 slip marina offers daily and seasonal boat slip rentals: pontoon, and paddle boat rentals; fi shing licenses; fuel; bait & tackle; snacks & beverages; and lots of good advice for fi nding big walleye. Cedar Shore hosted the Professional Walleye Trail in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006 & 2007. Marina opens April 1 and closes September 30.
Floating C-Store has beverages, candy, snacks, sandwiches, ice, gas, bait and tackle. Reserve a boat slip by calling 605-734-6376.

--CAMPGROUND-- Our 39 site campground is located on the banks of the Missouri
River at the southern end of the Resort Campus. All sites offer full hookups including water, sewer, electricity and cable TV. There are an additional 13 tent sites for the people who want to get back to nature. The offi ce offers limited groceries, laundry, shower house, ice, fi rewood, and cold beverage. Each site has a picnic table, charcoal grill and fi re pit. Close by is the basketball court, playground, and horseshoe pit. If nature is your passion, you can walk miles along the banks of the river on our new bike - walk path.
We also have a 24x40 covered picnic shelter for rent. It has electricity, a 3 ft charcoal grill, and a serving shelf.

Traveling to Chamberlain / OacomaPlease inform all conference attendees that the Highway
16 Bridge between Chamberlain and Oacoma is closed for construction. A major overhaul is planned for the 56-year-old metal truss bridge. The Interstate 90 Bridge will remain open. The Transportation Department expects the closure to last through December 2010.
Boats will be able to cross below the bridge in areas where work is not under way. Areas closed to boats beneath the bridge will be marked with buoys.
When traveling Interstate 90, Take Exit 260 at Oacoma. You will turn right at the red flashing light. Go two miles east and then turn left and go one mile north on Shoreline Drive.

GREAT SERVICE AWARDCedar Shore Resort was the proud winner of the
2005 George S. Mickelson Great Service Award for the State of South Dakota.
The Great Service Star Program is designed to identify and recognize businesses that complete a set of criteria for hospitality training of their employees, offer a comment mechanism for visitors, and recognize employees for great service. Participants meeting the criteria will be awarded a star symbol for use in marketing their business and to demonstrate to visitors their commitment to “Great Service”.
One business is chosen, annually from the submitted applications, to receive the George S. Mickelson Great Service Award. The Mickelson Award is announced and presented at the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism held in January.
