2016 PERFORMANCE DATA SNAPSHOT

During 2016, we celebrated twenty amazing years of experiencing God’s blessing on our school.

We enjoyed a week of celebration, as we looked back over 20 years

and were reminded of the many different facets of the growth and

development of our school, in teachers, students, buildings and

property. We acknowledged God’s wonderful provision, and the way

He worked through the lives of many people to birth and develop our

great school.

Some highlights of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations included a new

school song, the opening of the Creative Arts Centre, time capsule

and history pavers, celebration services and a spectacular school

history display.

The 2016 school year saw continued growth in student numbers

at Cedar College. Our primary goal, at Cedar College, is to deliver

excellence in education, helping prepare students for real life, as

together we “Discover Jesus, Display Love and Develop Self.”

During 2016, every graduating Cedar College student achieved

their South Australian Certificate of Education. This has been the

case for many years at Cedar, and is a significant achievement given

that the SACE completion rate across South Australia was 96%.

We are very proud of the outstanding results that our Year 12s

have achieved, and feel extremely blessed to be part of a school

community where students can fulfil their God-given academic gifts,

and progress to exciting post-school opportunities and pathways.

Thank you to all our families, students and staff, for another

wonderful year. Most importantly, we give all thanks to God for the

20 years in which He has grown, directed and blessed Cedar College

- in ways far beyond what we could have ever imagined.

“Now glory be to God, who by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.”

- Ephesians 3:20
