See Saw is a student driven digital portfolio. Students can document what they are doing at school. Students can capture their learning in many forms: photos, videos, drawings, voice overs, notes, links.
Teachers can also upload and push out documents and assignments for students to work on, assess, collect work, and give direct easy feedback.

ScreencastifyScreencastify is a free chrome extension that allows the user to record video with their webcam or their screen activity for creating tutorials - it is simple to use and saves directly to your Google Drive. I have used it to record my screen as I give Tech Tips for chromebooks, as shown in the screencast below:

Teachers can use the webcam to make instructional videos, record instruction to put on their website, or for students to view when they’ve been absent. They can also give oral feedback to student’s work.
Students have the Screencastify extension installed on their chromebooks already (yeah!) and can use it in a variety of ways:
● Newscast - Students become a news anchor and deliver what they’re learning about as the news of the day. Sit them up in front of whiteboard and a desk and let them summarize the important details.
● Interviews - have the kids interview each other, teachers, community members, veterans, etc.
● Presentations - Oral presentations can be recorded giving the student practice in speaking without the fear of dozens of eyes watching. They can also re-record if necessary, and helps students manage the length of their presentation better.
● Practice - foreign language students and band students can record themselves practicing and present it as a “journal” in a webcam.
