CCS What we do CCS was created to provide good quality food at affordable prices. We have gained a good reputation providing to the construction industry. Many of the sites that we service can be in remote locations or operating out of normal working hours and obviously the requirement here to provide suitable facilities for staff is essential and we have a range of services designed to fit any location or site type. The benefit to companies is a more efficient work environment with well monitored, hygienic areas for lunch, dinner or tea breaks, saving valuable man hours with no need for staff to wander around looking for places to eat often in areas they are unfamiliar with or at times when no where is open. The benefit for workers is good quality subsidised food provisions, a good variety of refreshments and the ability to feed back to a dedicated service with requests and requirements listened to and acted on. Health and Safety With all projects CCS work alongside existing Health & Safety Advisers and participates fully in risk assessments & HACCPS. CCS work to stringent regulations and guidelines set out by the NCASS and we carry £5m public liability and £10m employer’s liability. All equipment is regularly checked and PAT tested. G & D Green credentials and environment policy We are committed to achieving the highest standards of environmental performance and we recognise our corporate and social responsibility to the environment. We have guidelines in place for the education and training of employees in environmental issues and the environmental effects of their actions. Equally, our suppliers meet all professional and technical requirements and ensure the highest quality of their products, service, installation and design. CCS Highlights Balfour Beatty ‒ CCS have been providing catering solutions to much of Balfour Beatty’s operations including, 24hr closures at numerous tube stations, Farringdon Station refurbishment, temporary canteens. London Underground ‒ CCS provided temporary canteens and mobile catering units for Cross Rail enabling works at Whitechapel and Paddington Basin. Skanska Construction ‒ CCS have installed and operated and continue to operate an on site canteen capable of catering to 400 staff at the Brent Council Civic Centre build in Wembley.
