HOW DOEScCREDIT WORK?

cCREDIT IS THE INTERFACE BETWEEN YOUR CASH REGISTER OR BOOKING SYSTEM AND THE PINPADIn addition, cCredit handles communication with the parties involved in the payment process, your network operator, the acquirer or the service centre system (SCS).

The cCredit terminals are managed centrally via the IT infrastructure of SIX Payment Services. The configuration parameters, software and update information are simply stored here. And the best thing is: you don’t have to do anything – central maintenance of configuration parameters is carried out by SIX Payment Services on your behalf.

Central cCredit is installed on a central server in your IT infrastructure. Your local system then communicates with cCredit through the LAN (Local Area Network) or WAN (Wide Area Network). From there, it makes the relevant connections and handles payment processing.

Hosted cCredit is installed centrally on a cloud server of SIX Payment Services. Your local system communicates with cCredit through WAN (Wide Area Network) and handles the communication required for payment processing from there.
