Email From Colleges
Please continue to check your email for important
information from your colleges. This includes your SPAM
folder! Colleges are sending invitations to apply for
scholarships, honors colleges, or special programs, as well
as additional information about financial aid, depositing, and
housing. Pick one day each week to go through ALL of
your college related emails to make sure you aren’t
missing anything!
Application Documents
Has a college told you that you are “missing” a piece of your
application? Please keep in mind that each piece of an application
is retrieved separately (application, letters of recommendation,
transcripts, test score(s), etc.) and requires someone to go in
and manually update your account. This is true whether you
applied using an institutional application, Common Application or
Coalition.
This often takes 5-10 days, depending on the volume of
applications and materials. If your account still indicates
something as “missing” after 2 weeks, please contact the
admissions office. As long as you requested documents at least
2-4 weeks before the deadline and submitted your application by
11:59 PM on the deadline date, the college most likely has all of
your materials.

Deerfield High School is closed for Thanksgiving
break from November 27 - December 1.
All Parchment requests made after November 25 will be processed when
classes resume on December 2.
