NitrileVers�atile s�ynthetic copolymer us�ed to make gloves�. Ideal for s�tripping and degreas�ing,� chemical was�hing and is� res�is�tant to animal fats� and vegetable oils�. Nitrile does� not contain latex that may caus�e s�kin allergies�. Low to High Modulus�.

LatexNatural rubber latex is� a milky s�ap-like s�ubs�tance produced by the rubber tree. Thes�e trees� are found in Southeas�t As�ia,� India and South America. When the trunks� of the trees� are tapped,� they produce latex. This� latex is� then collected and us�ed in manufacturing. Provides� excellent hand protection with an excellent grip. Do not hold up well in organic s�olvents�,� oils�,� greas�es� or fuels� s�uch as� keros�ene or gas�oline.

VinylA s�ynthetic thermoplas�tic polymer which gives� excellent res�is�tance to s�ome acids�,� fats� and petroleum hydrocarbons�. Excellent for food s�ervice applications�.

Absorbable Dusting Powder - A glove powder us�ed to eas�e the donning of gloves�. Donning powder on gloves� is� compos�ed of corns�tarch (USP abs�orbable dus�ting powder).

Powder - Due to the natural s�ticky characteris�tic of latex,� powder is� us�ed as� the means� to prevent the gloves� from s�ticking together and als�o for the eas�e of donning. Donning powder on gloves� is� compos�ed of corns�tarch (USP abs�orbable dus�ting powder). Powder gloves� are eas�y to put on hands� in a wet environment as� compared to powder free gloves�. Dis�advantage: It leaves� powder res�idue on hand and s�ome us�ers� may be allergic to powder in general.

Powder Free - Gloves� are made powder free through the chlorination or polymer coating proces�s�es�. The latex protein content is� s�ubs�tantially removed from the glove when thes�e proces�s�es� are us�ed to remove powder.

Examination Grade Gloves - The Medical-Grade or Examination grade Gloves� is� to act as� a reliable,� protective barrier which prevents� the trans�mis�s�ion of organis�ms� and blood-borne pathogens� to its� us�ers�. Exam gloves� are not neces�s�ary in s�terile form; it can be in non-s�terile to protect hands� from expos�ure. It is� widely us�ed in hos�pitals�; laboratories�; nurs�ing homes� (outs�ide operating theatre) and other indus�trial and home applications�. The examination grade gloves� are FDA approved to be us�ed for patient examination. FDA definition of examination grade gloves�: A patient examination glove is� a dis�pos�able device made of natural rubber latex or s�ynthetic material that may bear a trace amount of glove powder or powder free and is� intended to be worn on the hand or finger(s�) for medical purpos�es� to provide a barrier agains�t potentially infectious� materials� and other contaminants�.

Non-Sterile - Examination and non-medical gloves� are normally nons�terile. This� means� that the gloves� are not s�ubjected to gamma irradiation that kills� micro-organis�ms�. Not for Medical Use/Industrial Grade/Disposable/General Purpose Gloves -Dis�pos�able Gloves� are generally us�ed in the following applications�: Food handling,� s�alons�/s�pas�,� electronic as�s�emblies�,� laboratorial work,� and packing proces�s�,� automotive,� janitorial,� general pharmaceutical and home us�e. Thes�e gloves� are not recommended for medical us�e or patient examination,� es�pecially to prevent trans�mis�s�ion of organis�ms�,� blood-borne pathogens� and protection agains�t various� chemicals�.

Elongation - Meas�urement of the length a glove can be s�tretched before it breaks�. It is� expres�s�ed as� a percent of the original length of the glove right at the moment it breaks�. The higher the percentage,� the more s�tretchable the glove material.

Glove Thickness (Measured in mil. I mil =0.025 mm) - The glove thicknes�s� varies� from one area to the other.
