王無邪 Wucius Wong 男,原名王松基,1936年生,廣東省東莞人。自幼隨父母移居香港,在香港成長及受教育。1961至1965年留 學美國攻讀藝術,返港後歷任香港中文大學校外進修部行政助理、香港博物美術館助理館長、香港理工學院 設計學院首席講師等職。 1971年獲美國紐約洛克菲勒三世基金會藝術研究獎助金、1998年獲香港藝術發展局藝術成就獎、2007年獲香 港特區政府銅紫荊星章。曾參加1961年巴西聖保羅國際藝術雙年展、1998年上海雙年展、1998及1999年紐 約及畢爾包之古庚漢美術館『中華五千年文明』藝術展等,作品為中、港、英、美、歐洲及澳洲多家美術館 收藏。2006年香港藝術館主辦其五十年藝術回顧展。現為香港中文大學藝術系禮任教授,北京中國畫學會理 事,中國畫學會香港永遠會長,中國美術家協會香港分會顧問,並任香港特區政府康樂文化署博物館專家顧 問。 Male, born in 1936, in Dongguan, Guangdong province. Wong moved to Hong Kong with his parents in his early age and was educated in Hong Kong. He later studied art in the United States from 1961 to 1965. Aſter his return to Hong Kong, he took up posts as Assistant Administrator of the Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Continuing and Professional Studies, Assistant Curator at the City Museum and Art Gallery and Principal Lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design. Wong was awarded the Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship (visual artist) in 1971, Hong Kong Arts Development Council Achievement Award in 1998, and the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2007. Wong participated in the São Paulo Biennial in 1961, Shanghai Biennale in 1998, and the “China - 5000 years, Innovation and Transformation in the Arts” exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in 1998 – 99. His works were collected by museums all over the world. In 2006, the Hong Kong Museum of Art organized a major retrospective exhibition, “At the East-West Crossroads: e Art of Wucius Wong”, to commemorate Wong’s accomplishment. Wong is currently an Adjunct Professor of the Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a director of the Chinese Painting Association, Beijing; life president of the Chinese Painting Association, Hong Kong; counsellor of the Chinese Artist Association, Hong Kong and Museum Expert Adviser to the Leisure and Culture Department of the Hong Kong Government.

男,原名王松基,1936年生,廣東省東莞人。自幼隨父母移居香港,在香港成長及受教育。1961至1965年留
